I can't download the game client, but I really want to play the server. I'm getting a virus detection which will not allow me to download it, from Google Chrome. I don't have firewall or virus protection enabled, and FlashGet or Internet Explorer can't download it either.
Yea, I'm having the same problem. On your last client I managed to download it by disabling my anitvirus, but now after I disable MUCH more protection it still doesn't fully let me download it. On FF, GC and IE...
Here is what I found for bypassing the virus scan on Chrome: http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/yVKQ4py2LwI I can assure you there is no malicious code or software in this exe. Searching on Google shows other people who have virus scanner issues with Maplestory clients and they have all been false positives. Spleen, you must have some additional software blocking the download since you can't download the client using any browser. We will try zipping the exe and see if that fixes the virus scan issue in your browsers.
It downloads now, but with no icon. And when I try to launch it, it told me I don't have permission to do so? So I modified the permission, turned on the Full Control option and the file disappeared. Edit: Yay got it It was Microsoft Security Essentials which kept deleting the file.
