Hey guys I was wondering what equips I should buy on my lvl60 spearman since I've been saving up some meso. I already have a good Z helm, mediocre work gloves (9 att), silver deputy star, and some badly scrolled bathrobes and capes (they give like +10 str/dex depending on what I need). I was thinking about buying a relatively cheap PAC for like 1b or something or maybe a really good bathrobe, but some of you may have better suggestions
i'd say no bathrobe plz, dex really quite useless for dark knight,and a 64lv maple spear will give you enough accuracy. and any tops str 20 above, botoms str 7above. i bought a 10att gloves, 4att shoes and 2att cape and they were just enough to grind to lv 100, doing lmpq to 71and ppq then,and himes latter, drogan knight is for sure the strongest job among all 3rd jobs!
A 20+ STR bathrobe for now, I suppose. Later when you're lvl100 you'll want to invest in some high str neos top and bottom. Getting a high attack Maple Karstan would be good, polearm is better for third job grinding so you'll want to max dragon fury polearm first and spear crusher later. Karstans are kinda annoying to farm so it might be expensive. Shoes you should get some high str/dex shoes, I think lvl70 ones drop at wolfspiders. You can either scroll them with jump to get extra dex or speed so you can move like sanic. If you get a pac/pgc, aim for 3att+ I guess.
Alright in that case I'll forget about the bathrobe and I think I'll look for a decent PAC or maybe some facestompers instead
Oh yeah I probably should've added that I already have some good weapons ready, including a Karstan But now I'm debating if I should go for a 20+ str bathrobe or a PAC again. I think I'll use the PAC longer though, which is also pretty important to me.
Stop what youre doing immediately and follow these steps- 1. make a lvl 81 hs mule 2. make a f/p mage 3. buy meteor 30 & trash scrolled wand5 for 20m 4. sell 1 hit ulu2 leech (you will 1 shot by lvl 130 and max meteor and wand5 with no int gear) 5. NOW you can work on your drk and go buy some real gear (15 pgc 15 fs 20 scg 137 skis is some basic elite gear).
Don't worry about end-game gear until you're a high enough level to be able to equip everything. While you're still in the lower levels, focus on getting as much int gear as possible so that you have a high enough MP pool to HP wash in 4th job. Assuming you're dexless, you should be able to get more than enough acc with mostly clean or cheap gear. For now you can just toss 60% dex/acc or 100% dex/acc scrolls on your z-helm--whatever floats your boat, and you can worry about your end-game helm when you're able to do zak runs regularly as an attacker. Since this server has random extra stats on gears, you should be able to eventually find a level 60 Orientican top/bottom combo with good enough dex/acc to get you by just from regular grinding. I wouldn't even bother scrolling them (or any top/bottom in general) until you get the level 100 Neos armors later on. Also get a 9-10 acc clean Sad Mask (face accessory) if you don't have one already. At only ~20mil or so, they're an incredible value, and something that we never had the luxury of in GMS. 60%ing Maple weapons will get you by just fine until you reach level 85 and can use a sky ski. At that point you'll want to start trying for a decently scrolled ski, since it'll be your end-game weapon. Don't invest too much on anything else in the meantime. Just use whatever can get you by. I wouldn't even worry about getting a PAC/PGC until around 140+ or whatever level you plan to start doing zak/horntail regularly. Your weapon will give you the most damage range for the money, followed by gloves. They key is to be efficient with your spending and try to get the most out of what you have.
dont use skis unless its 130+ attack- slow spears with 13x attack is better than skis with 11x attack. unfunded drk should always go with slow spears, more dps.
