Resizing windows in windowed mode?

I have windows 7 and resizeenable is not allowing me to stretch out my screen. Any help?

 

What do you mean? The game doesn't allow you to go anything more than 800x600.

I'm referring to this thread. Windows mode is a bit too small so I want to stretch it out a lil bit

 

You could resize your desktops resolution to be a little smaller (which will make the windowed mode seem larger). I also have some luck using ShiftWindow but it doesn't work 100% of the time...

 

i changed my desktop resolution to 1366x768 and it is definitely bigger size of Maple client comparing to 1600x900

 

Tried it, don't think its working.

 

did u try exact 1366x768?
for at least on my laptop 1600x900, 1440x900 and 1400x1050 all the same small size of Maple client.

 

Changing res definitely makes a huge difference. Here are two examples to show you the difference, the windowed version goes from taking up 1/4 the screen to over 1/2


Native res (1920x1080):

Yea the resolution of the window stays the same but i just get black bars on the top and bottom of my screen

 

To remove black bars go here in your Nvidia control panel:

Aspect ratio = black bars

Full screen = full screen/no black bars (what you want)


Disregard my personal settings as I prefer black bars

 

Ok that worked but now I get an error code when I try to open up royals again. It only works if I revert back to my default settings

 

I don’t have that issue nor do I know of a solution, but I know of a way to avoid it.
Change it after the game is already open. Hopefully somebody else can chime in and explain why a lower resolution could/would cause an error opening Royals.

 

try open the game files and find Setup.exe , open it and follow it
