Still, I really wanted to take the time to explain what actually happened. So, you probably know how leveling up a cleric goes. You heal. Yeah, thats pretty much it(specially with the pet handling the MP potions) Does it take all of your concentration and effort to press a single key? Problably not. So I did the thing I usually did back in the day I played pre big bang maplestory, I took my laptop, went into the living room, turned on the tv and watched while farming. I think just about everyone does that. So time passes and I´m there doing everything I can to stay awake because I´m pretty addicted and want to level up as much as I can in my last week of vacation. I kept trying to leave the "spacebar" key down because my hand was in an unconfortable postion. After a while I can do it and I no longer have to press to heal, i just adjust the character every once in a while and keep it farming. I think all of that would be fine. Problem is, I fell asleep while the key was down. And the rest is history... So yeah, I absolutely know you are under no obligation to unban me. I was admittedly exploting the game a little bit by just holding down a key and rarely looking at it, but what I was most certainly NOT was botting. So, do whatever you want with this information but I´d surely love a reply. Even if I deserve to be banned I just think it´s unfair to receive the same ban that people who use bots receive for falling asleep with a key pressed down, so I had to write this. Obs: I was cracking my head around something the gm said. He said I was using heal every 7 seconds, or so someone said. With the button pressed down it must´ve been spamming nonstop, not only every 7 seconds. At first, I thought the person was lying but that just wouldn´t make sense. Why would the reporter lie about something like that? Well, elementary, my dear Watson...What I figured after a while was that my pet must´ve got hungry and disappeared, and so I no longer had unlimited mp. That meant i only healed when i passively regained the mp, every 7 seconds.
Hello there. Instead of banning you out of the blue I wanted to save you an appeal and explain why you were being banned, but apparently that did not do it for you. Alas, this message can serve as a friendly reminder to everyone else (taken from the Appendices of the MapleRoyals Game Terms & Conditions): When determining whether or not a player should be banned for botting, what matters most is being seen engaging in robot-like activity while showing no signs of being present at your computer despite reporters' continuous attempts at prompting for a reply. In this example, if you are holding down the heal key and start feeling drowsy then please do everyone a favor and log out before falling asleep. It isn't right to hold us accountable after setting yourself up for what ensued. What happens in real life is not something within our jurisdiction nor something we can simply take your word on; action is taken solely based on what is observed in-game which, in your case, pointed towards Robotic Play. You're banned for 7 days for robotic play, Hope this clears it up.
