The new hp quest came out to help to reduce the cost of hp washing, but yet since the Ridiculous rare drop rate of honey; the cost of whole hp quest is getting almost the same as HP washing. Total of 15 honey is needed for all the quest which gives 500hp. Each honey will cost 20m,that is 20x15=300m That is 300/17=18 ap reset. 18x20=360hp And that is just for the cost of honey. If add the cost for other materials together, it is almost the same as ap washing.
You could look at it that way. Or you could see it as a chance to get extra hp without any other prerequisite (aka not have int to wash out). I for one see it as the latter
The other materials are easily farmable. Sorry (not really), but to be honest, if you're lazy, then probably that's why it's not worth it to you (because your mentality is just about buying all the required ETCs and not farming it). So I don't think it's fair you blame it on the quests. And before you throw all the "but you're funded" thing at me, let me tell you this: I spent one whole day farming for all the items, probably about 3-4 hours (Sap took me the most time). I only gave up at the 5th part and ended up buying 3 or 4 honey at 15m each.
The drop rate really isn't that bad... I farmed like 5 in 10 minutes with my NL, not even a mage. Also, like Shnang said, you don't need all the INT gear and such and you don't lose out on MP. I'm pretty sure you could gain all 500 HP by farming for a solid 1-2 hours with a mage. If you're this lazy, this is entirely on you.
My Hero didn't have enough MP to wash to 30k hp so doing the quest was the only way for me to reach 30k. I think the quest was just challenging enough and was a better alternative than having to spend BILLIONS on INT equips in order to reach my goal. So if you take into account you don't have to buy INT equips this is way cheaper than regular HP washing with resets.
This method of gaining extra maxHP has not been implemented to reduce the cost of HP washing, it is simply providing one alternative way to increase your maxHP. You also have to expect that the current prices are probably heavily inflated right now due to the amount of people doing the quest... So if you are dead-set on buying the items rather than spending a few hours doing the quests, maybe just wait a bit?
I can make about 120-150m on one hour of leech. 3-4 hours that’s About 400m. I’ll be loosing money if try to farm those martial myself. Cheap if i just buy it. Make be you guys should raise the drop rate of honey a bit. That’s my point.
this thread answered this: /forum/threads/why-they-add-max-hp-to-all-classes.123578/page-2#post-705033 - For those who already reach 30k, you dont lose anything because the cost for these quests similar to AP reset. -It benefits people that unable to reach 30k after all washing done or those who chose to not hp washing. - If you havent reach 30k hp yet and want to archive it, you can choose to buy AP reset instead for time and cost efficient or test your luck to farm the quest items plus some points to quest specialist.
Personally I'm fine with the drop rate of honey, since it's what makes the series challenging. If your suggestion is to make it easy...then why not just give that +500/+1000 HP free to everyone? Nothing comes free. It either requires your time to farm it, or if you have the fund, to spend them. But it seems like you won't go the farming way, so your best bet is like what Matt says - wait for its price to drop (but I'm not sure how soon though). But whatever your choice is, as long as it works for you, then that's good. TLDR: Not against whatever you said, but I just don't like the idea of making something like this any easier, because it's already considerably easy.
I honestly found the questline to be quite easy. As stated several times, the Nependeath Honey took a while to farm, but I'm doing all the quests as a Hero without using any mage to leech them. One day of work to add 500 HP without having to buy AP Resets, use INT washing gear, or have base INT seems like quite a good deal to me. If anything, I think the amount of materials needed and the time to farm them is quite low.
Matt answered this perfectly. The big take is, if you wanna play this as all about efficiency, then yeah, just don't do the quest til prices drop. Otherwise, you can, you know, play the game? Have fun?
@Swanky has like 20 glass shoes, soooo he probably has a stack of this Honey people want. Try giving him a holla'
I think you're missing the whole point here. Through the quest you don't need to invest billions of mesos into INT gear and you don't have to level up with the INT gear in order to gain extra MP used for washing. The quests provide a method to gain hp without having to level up with expensive INT gear.
Well, I took half a day to complete 5 sets of the HP quests (included 2 hours of nap). I don't see whats the problem. The honey drop might be low, but its fair. The other ETCs are so easy to farm to be honest. In regards with farming honey, if you're not lucky in the channel you're in, try cc to another. Personally how I'd do it is spending 30 mins in one channel, and if it doesn't even drop one, I'll change to another. I got lucky one time with 3 honey drops in 10 minutes in one channel. Why buy them. when you can farm them and have a little patience?
Quests are supposed to take some time and be somewhat hard, otherwise they wouldn't be called quests...
I know how you feel when comparing leech vs farming the items your own. Right now, I'm actually being cheap. I'd rather wait for the items to decrease in price before buying them. Also, I'm sure some people, including myself, are thinking to do summon farming for the nependeth honey. If they do go for it, expect the prices to drop.
this quest worth for me (not funded player). it take me 4hrs to get 15 honey and 2hours to get 75 sap.
