If I would say something then I would say that you have made a good but not so good decision on picking this good but not so good server. I don't think you'll find any friends by making an introduction here, even if you DO manage to get some IGN's it never works out, I know it from my own experience. That said the only way you can actually meet some decent people is by joining a guild. Smega that sh*t and you'll be sure to find some decent people along the way. Oh and welcome!
