This seems like a stupid idea but I'm just suggesting. Maybe for a 1 year/half year/whatever present, there can be a all accounts unbanned. I know people would be grateful to play again and probably made a stupid mistake to hack in the first place(My friend...). Long time ago when this server just started many people probably just hacked but seeing that its becoming a great server, I think people would love to play again and not use illegal programs. Again I know seems like a stupid idea but other servers don't do it after 2-3 years and that's depressing. Global has a 1 month, 1 day, 1 week, perma ban system, but instead of that maybe every year or half everyone can start over.
These players may put in a ban appeal which we may consider depending on the length of time they have been banned and the details in the ban appeal. Their account would not be unbanned but it's possible that we could unban their MAC and IP.
Yeah... or not. Also, you're extremely biased and not a very good person to suggest this [since your friend is banned and you even mentioned that in this post; essentially what you want is your friend to be unbanned.] How about they don't hack and play the game fairly instead? And yeah, what a great 'present', flooding the game with lots of hackers every 6 months/1 year - amazing present for all the legit people playing! Really. (That's sarcasm, for those of you who are illiterate in sarcasm online) Not to mention if you believe you've been wrongly banned/changed for the better/whatever you can always make a ban appeal.
You can be perma banned for other reasons than hacking/duping etc. Maybe you are just stupid and swear/spam a few times and bam...
