IGN to blacklist: Sociaphobia
Reason for Blacklisting: Harassing at Big foot
Details: He was hopping channels looking for big foots and eventually came to my channel. Big foots HP was around 60% while i was attacking it, and he suddenly joined the fight aswell. I kindly asked him to leave and he kept attacking without replying to me. He eventually stopped so i thought he understood me and wanted to cc, but he did not leave and kept harassing me instead. He was looting the mesos sacks i was dropping for mesos explosion and kept changing channels and repeating it.

I actually just turn a blind eye to such people but i was helping my guildmate to get her a big foot toe, which was not possible because of him. I do not have any evidence unfortunately but i will record it if i meet him in the future.

Reason for Blacklisting: Scamming leech
Details: Me and my leech partner paid him to do 1 hour of Master Chronos leech and then he logged off and never leeched us.
Sadly my play.tv was updating and did not record this so he got really lucky.
Be warned.

3. DETAILS: I was in a HT run with this dude and right when the left arm dies, he takes everything, including the NX and egg and just dips. The buyer was upset because he had to survive on low HP and this douche just takes it.. I don’t have screenshots but I was in party with @eden and he also saw this happen.

3. DETAILS: Whisped for VIP service, okay. We were preparing and he tells me has like 400 pots so one of our other buyers gave him some. Then he needed EoF to enter because he didn't have any. He attacked Zakum during arms until told to stop. He already had a Zhelm yet did all this bullshit.
So, we killed Zakum and 4 helms dropped. He started moaning that we had looted the equips, candles, sunshine and NX. So we explained that VIP only means helms. Then we had to explain that Zhelms were one of a kind items so he had to drop his to loot another. We told him this repeatedly and warned him the items would expire after 3 minutes. He dropped his helm, looted one and then the rest expired.
Then followed 5 minutes of trying to make him pay. He said "fuck you" and then decided not to pay us anything.
Avoid like the plague. Total mouth breather.

3. DETAILS: Paid for VIP service; was ALSO AN MEMBER IN MY ALLIANCE.
Took too long to loot the helms, since he already was wearing a helmet. Repeatedly told to drop helmet and ignored warnings until he dropped and looted one helmet. Then refused to pay at all since "we did not tell him how Zhelm service worked", even though he was level 109 WITH AN EXISTING HELMET.

Ended up not paying at all for Zak helm.

2. Reason: unnecessary defaming & taunting
3. Details: Many of us have mules for cake event, no surprises there. However some people don't get that the mules will be back to hit the cake eventually (or they get no reward anyways), or they can't be bothered to fight for a more populated channel. There's always a few angry comments out there which are uncalled for.

I first arrived at chn15 cake when it's 100% with only 1 other guy, starts working on my chars, finally reaching back to this character, hits till it's about 80%. Mega to call for help. Starts whacking for a bit, heed back to my alt for a minute and this happens. It's not like 3 defames means a lot to me nor is it the end of the world, but I do think it is very unpleasant to encounter players like Tinsoldier who gets a kick at the expense of other players.

If any of them are in your guild, I would be wary of them if I were you.

 

Interesting.. don't know if this would fall under fame scam.. I had one earlier, not a huge deal but I have a feeling the person is going around the FM defaming people for "business" lol

The fact that people are even whining over petty fame just further kills any credibility the blacklist still had. The people who get butthurt over such insignificant things are worse than those who commit the act themselves.

 

If you don't like the blacklist you don't have to use it.

I'm not looking for divine retribution by posting here, I'm just posting so people who do use the blacklist (and not as a place for entertainment like some recent posts) can be made aware.

I get it's one fame, but like almost everything in the black list, it doesn't break a rule but that doesn't mean it's "good" behavior.

Edit: the defaming isn't the issue by the way, what got me to post it was their idea that going around defaming people as a way to boost a fame selling service is trashy at best. It's like breaking car windows so people come to your garage.

 

Valid analogy tbh. Defaming isnt the issue; imagine this guy walks up to your character that has 20 fame (which you needed to equip your top and bottom), defames you, then pulls up on his fame mule to try to sell you back that fame for 5m. Ofc you dont have to buy it from him and could have a friend fame you back, but that situation is just a hassle that could be avoided if he was just a better person to begin with.

 

It's not even about that few number of defame, it's about the intention the blacklisted player have. If getting a fame from a newbie you helped brought a smile to your face, then getting an undeserved defame should at least make you think if this guy is a jerk. A few defame might be "petty" or "insignificant" to you, but if he is willing to orchestrate a mass defame on someone over something as trivial as "afking in cake for a minute" just because he wants to have some fun, then imagine what else he would do in more significant situations like boss parties.

If this post has helped others make more informed decisions in the future with regards to these players, I'd say this post with a few "petty" defame is still useful. If the aforementioned players feel indignant or upset, they are welcome to defend themselves.

Reason for blacklist: Item scam
Explanation: Traded with me for a stormcaster glove I had on that's got 11 wep att. Convinced me to trade with him, initially putting an 11 wep att work glove with a tree branch nose and a rat mouth and 30m. Then swapped that 11 wep att work glove for a 6 wep att glove.
