IGN: FreezingCold Problem: Can't add 4th job SP Details: When I try to add points to any 4th job skill, it says: 'you are lacking in either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd level skills'. I have 63 points in first job skills, 123 in second job, and 153 in third job. These should be the correct amounts. I asked about this issue in the shoutbox and someone said there was a bug with skillpoints, but I couldn't find any information about it on the forum. EDIT: This thread can be closed.
It's different for magician and non-magician classes, perahps this would help you: Spoiler For non-magician classes: To allocate to 2nd job skills; 61 SP is required to be spent on 1st job. To allocate to 3rd job skills; 61 SP is required to be spent on 1st job and 121 SP on 2nd job, or a total of 182 across both 1st and 2nd job. To allocate to 4th job skills; 61 SP is required to be spent on 1st job, 121 SP on 2nd job, 151 SP on 3rd job, or a total of 333 SP across 1st, 2nd and 3rd job. For magicians: To allocate to 2nd job skills; 67 SP is required to be spent on 1st job. To allocate to 3rd job skills; 67 SP is required to be spent on 1st job and 121 SP on 2nd job, or a total of 188 across both 1st and 2nd job. To allocate to 4th job skills; 67 SP is required to be spent on 1st job, 121 SP on 2nd job, 151 SP on 3rd job, or a total of 339 SP across 1st, 2nd and 3rd job. edit: according to your signature FreezingCold is a mage, which means you should have 67 SP spent on 1st job.
Ah, that explains it. That does mean there is a bug with SP resets though; I was able to remove points from first job until I had 63 left, probably because I had two too many in both second and third job. This thread can be closed.
