GPQ Rewards/ Drop rate of Assassinate30 (or is it not on the drop table) & Skill Books

I did many GPQ since the patch came out but one thing I witness is that the rewards of GPQ is not very attractive hence people don't want to do it. Nonetheless, I think the drop rate of skill books are too low on the bonus stage. For example, I did many rounds but haven't gotten one assassinate 30.

So my suggestion to attract more people to do gpq is to have a more attractive bonus stage such as dropping chaos/white scrolls from the boxes or simply rewarding us with mesos or other items when we reach certain points... Comment below if you have other suggestions of the rewards...
Moreover, the DROP RATE of the skill books should increase as well. For example assassinate 30, it seems to be relative hard or nearly impossible to get compared it to other lvl30 skill books.

***Wasnt one of the purpose of GPQ to come back is to get assassinate30? So far in GPQ I have only seen Paralyze, Chain Lighting, Lfrit, Taunt and Frostprey 30s.

maybe add a personal point like Mu Lung Dojo, and we can exchange some rare but not op itmes and chairs/nx with it, even better if all untradeable, so econemy gets no harm, and even more "showing off "value on those items which will attract a lot people to work on them

yes but my point was to have some incentive while doing gpq thats why I suggested ws/cs (it doesn't have to be ws/cs but not sure what else can be dropped that is worth while for mesos). However, I do believe it is nice to gain some mesos while doing it. Exchange for chairs and nx items (untradeable) seems like a good idea too.

Thats acutally not a bad idea. Maybe also put gelt in it as well but put the drop rate abit lower so it does not replace apples

Assassinate 30 is still in the search. Out of the top three gpq guilds, no one have seen it. I think there might be an error somewhere. The drop rate of it seems like a 1% chance or even 0.01%.

Considering when you break a box like 15 items fly out and any given person in the gpq can break up to 5 boxes before the time ends, the drop rate seems closer to 0.0001%

 

As far as I'm aware, the drop rate is the same it always was.

The only difference is there isn't a massive supply and lots of demand like there was before GPQ was taken offline. Now, there's a massive demand and 0 supply, so every "failed" PQ feels more significant than it used to.

 

the 0 supply thing is kind of ridiculous considering how many gpq runs have already been done.

Fleur - 54000pts
Valhalla - 40000pts
Guild - 31000pts

Total points - 125000points

Assuming we get perfect points each run (945 points total)

125000/945= 131runs

That is 0 out of 131 runs.

 

I'm here to add onto @Lexy 's point, just be warned that I'm going to making quite a few mathematical assumptions, but these are simply to illustrate the point that I believe there is something wrong with these drop rates.

First of all, if we take a look at the old GPQ rankings (yes I know this isn't the most up to date image, but just using this to serve as a reference):


The top 3 guilds in the above image add up to ~850k points. And at the moment, the top 3 guilds post new source have ~125k points total.

Let's just assume for this example that there WAS indeed an Assassinate 30 drop within these 125k points, and we just so happened to miss it/not break that particular box. If we do some simple math, 850k/125k = 6.8. If the drop rate of Assassinate 30 was indeed this low pre new source, then that means that Divinity, LoveHandles and Oblivion only received a combined total of <7 Assassinate 30s? over the course of what I would assume to be at least 1 year+ of GPQing? Doesn't that seem a bit too low?

I don't really have the numbers to back this up since I can't see the other pages of the old guild leaderboard, but I would generously guesstimate that Divinity, LoveHandles, and Oblivion combined probably had AT LEAST 20-25% of all the guild points on the server. By this assumption you mean to tell me that there have only been ~28-35 Assassinate 30s in existence? And with a 50% passrate there are only ~14-18 shadowers who have ever passed Assassinate 30?

I mean maybe I'm totally wrong and these rates are correct but this seems whack

NOTE: This is even assuming that you can get an Assassinate 30 within 125k pts lol

Just as a comparison, whats the rate of ifrit 30 compared to assasinate 30? seeing as we have seen a number of ifrit 30s drop so far
