I don't have any good equipments. all i did was pump all ap into int for some people they might have better equipment like the zhelm and scrolled it for 30 int so bascally they have like 6 levels of int more than me and they might have other good equipment so i estimate that a funded player might have like 15 levels of int ahead of me that means they get significantly more MP than I did. some ppl get like zhelm at level 50 I realize this and at level 120 I have like 10349mp I don'w even know if that is even good. too bad I spend so much time on this character. anyone know how much mp I lost by not investing into int wep or zhelm? someone even mentioned my that I should get my helm at lvl 135 but the way I view it, I think i should just get it asap and kill myself so I don't level up and waste more mp
seems fine. you probably are short 1k mp at the absolute most compared to someone who wears the godliest of godly stuff for reference, my 150 bishop has 14,010mp
If what I'm reading is correct, you'll find it moderately difficult to gear up, and obtain a bishop's final skill books would be nearly impossible. The issue comes down to funding really. As a normal, and given what you stated most likely unfunded, Bishop, I assume you probably have average gear, perhaps a well scrolled bathrobe starlight or maybe doroness, with an acceptable zakum helm and a decent pyrope wand. Good, but nothing top of the line. Skillbooks would go the same way, with gen20 currently priced at 850m and above, while gen30 sits at a whopping 1.5b. You see, i did the exact same thing you did because i started the same way you did, and like you, i didn't have the benefit of someone guiding me and helping me understanding the unstated rules of the game either - such as - while Bishops sound like the best class to start the game with, considering their utility and genesis (sounds great right? map wide AOE and HS built into 1 - and all boss parties would love you regardless of your equips), it really takes a surprising amount of effort to get to that point. To illustrate, with your bishop the way it is, you can probably join the bossing parties with no issue when you hit the required levels, after all, you're not doing damage. you're just there to Symbol, Shield, Dispel, Resurrect and maayyybe get rid of the minions it may summon after all, so really, 10k MP is pretty much fine for a Bishop and not an issue at all because you're a mage. yo'll get plenty of MP anyway down the road with how much int you're now packing so any mp loss is negligible at best. So at this point, i'd really ask you what you really want to do with your bishop because there's really only 2 things you can do; a) ignore the "optimal" gear set and mp you might have lost from having the perfect start, and keep levelling up, because its not like having the best bishop in the server is going to help you much at bossing. Life goes on for you, you sell low level leech to fund yourself piece by piece, get some acceptable gear and maaaybbbeee for another class (usually NL or BM because those 2 suckers are the ones that need the biggest starting investments as well as the most popular/essential in absolutely any end game content). Your bishop will never deal great damage, but at least you wont have issues with boss parties. b) you decide that you want to start all over again, but with your lack of funding, you'll most likely decide that an Arch Mage, (IL - higher starting capital, but greater end game potential because of their end game wand 6 and 7 being rarer and MUCH more expensive, plus blizzard30 skillbooks being somewhere in the ballpark of 400m - 500m a pop OR FP - Zero starting capital needed, their elemental wands are dirt cheap if you're not looking for 150TMA and above clean cos thats about 150mil, and meteor30 is about 100-200m last i checked). You'll have some acceptable int gear already, and your zakum helm will be saved for this character. Once it hits 120, it can do almost everything your bishop can't, except bossing, and its much higher damage lets you sell some higher lvel leech for better meso per hour especially since you already have a bishop to provide HS. This lets you save up money faster, getting the best Int gear you can, on top of gen 20 and 30 skillbooks, as well as saving any extra up for any additional class you may want to make. If you need more advice, feel free to DM me, i'm currently making a FP mage myself.
Max MP is only important to bossing and even so I think you are ok. You don't need to be funded to make a Bishop. Bishops are how you fund your characters. They don't need high MP so they don't suffer from having no int gear while leveling up and they can sell leech fine without any items. Work your way up the MAttack ladder by selling leech so you can sell leech at better spots. Rinse and repeat till you have as much as money you want.
If you're really worried about your mp, just start mp washing around 16x to lv17x everytime you level. Only takes 5 AP resets per level up so you can easily farm the fund for it by just grinding/selling leech/whatever you do to gain income. Ez 30k mp by the end of the day.
