Your Character Names: Crumbletop, Phirefly Last thing you did: spammed spell on lephrechauns Why do you think you got banned?: briefly spoke to the GM who suspected me for botting Ban message when attempting to log in: ID is deleted or blocked What GM banned you (optional): n/a
You have been banned for macro botting. You failed to respond or even notice that you were moved to a different map.
I did notice and respond, but not immediately. I had been logged in for about 3 hours, i sold leech for 1 hour, then i started gathering materials for the dep star quest. I gathered the rags, then I began gathering the lucky charms. I googled and found out the best map was creeping evil. after a few minutes there i discovered theres a spot i could just stand and use my spell around every 10seconds (1 key). after spamming for a bit my spell stopped working, and i realised all i gotta do is move a bit every now and again, and my pet loots. This got quite boring so I put a show on tv and my focus was on the tv while using my spell. When I heard that I was no longer killing the leprechauns, I turned to my screen and saw I had moved to an unusual room, and the GM had messaged me a few times. It took me only a minute or 2 to respond to the GM, because my focus was not on my screen. Had the GM's messages played a notification sound I would have saw it immediately. I had no 3rd party applications open, nor do I have any keyboard software capable of making macros. I can understand why the GM thought i was botting, but surely you can understand that what I was doing took minimal effort. I could just stand there, use my spell, the leps dont even attack me, and the pet loots everything. I wasn't even in the map for long. I was honestly not macroing botting and have been unfairly banned. If you have logs, you will see I was also emptying my inventory of the useless equips while doing this. Please could you look into this. Thanks
Playing while watching shows is cool. However, the rules state that regardless of the circumstances you must show signs of physical presence when prompted, which you didn't for a long while. After reviewing the evidence I couldn't help but notice these “every now and then” movements actually occur *every* 22 seconds with a 2.5 second delay between Shining Ray casts. No human can time actions this exact for that amount of time without the assistance of a bot, so your story just isn't adding up.
That's oddly specific. I don't know about that. I know I was having some latency issues if that has anything to do with it. Felt like I was casting shining Ray slower than what you suggest though. I have been working hard on my character. It's unrealistic that I would bot to kill some leprechauns... Also I was unaware of the rule stating I need to show physical presence. For that I apologize. As mentioned a notification sound from the GM's whisper would have caught my attention right away.
I didn't say anyone was lying. I'm telling you that I honestly was not botting. So please look further into this because there's been a mistake here.
reviewed the evidence, your movement and skill used at specific intervals has nothing to do with latency issues. your appeal is denied
This is unreal... I'm staying banned for something I didn't do, while many people who actually are botting with their hs mules are happily playing. gg
