IGN: My main character is SeekNDestroy Problem: game keeps crashing after trying to select Scania and channel Details: Ever since a couple of days ago, after installing the new mapleroyals update, the game has been crashing with the error code: - 2147287038 (Unknown error 0x80030002).. I can log into the game, but once I go to select a world/channel, the game crashes.. Please help.. I have severe anxiety and this game helps relax me and it's very hard now that I can't play it..
You should be able to log into the game now. I had to log into your account to manually solve the problem, you will be receiving the PIN prompt on your next time logging in due to this.
The pants you had on one of your characters were a duplicate and in Update 54 we replaced the duplicate with a gender neutral copy, however the appearance of your character you see on the character selection screen is stored separately and due to how this replacement was done that information wasn't updated, so since that update it has been showing you the duplicate pants that we just now removed from the game files, and since they no longer exist you crash! I simply had to temporarily change your password, (as all passwords are encrypted and salted the only way we can access an account is by changing account information), log into your account with some older game files, unequip that item and log out to have it update your visual appearance, and then put the encrypted password and salt back.
