Hi everyone, how you doing? I'm sorry if I have created too many threads lately. I hope you aren't angry or something. There's another thing I'd like to talk to you about, I hope that's okay, thanks for being so patient.
Well, you see... I recently failed in the Ludi PQ by falling down to the Golems at the bottom. You can probably imagine how embarassing that was. But, obviously, this was a minor failure and the PQ is low-leveled, but you can basically fail in almost any other PQ, especially if you're the leader, or if you were holding an important item required to pass a stage. Now, what if I'd tell you, that other players wouldn't want to PQ with you anymore because of your failure? Indeed, your reputation can be hurt because of it. The problem with that when it happens, is, some players are just... you know, human beings. And especially annoying is, when I failed only one time and promised it will never happen again and it was only a one-time failure that I learned from...people are still not convinced and are still angry and disappointed. I remember at that point, after the members in the party have all left, I couldn't join a new PQ after that for a long time, until the players involved were gone, and new players came who don't know about my failure. But, some players are immature and can spread the message, etc. I'm curious to find out if anyone else had failed in a PQ and what happened afterwards. There's a big difference between frequently failing in PQ's between failing one time only because of a very rare mistake, and never failing again after that.

Its okay, man. When I was first learning I failed at things regularly in this game and always was invited back. Just be courteous and polite; if you don't get invited back to the same group, OH WELL! You can find another =). Not a big deal.

The only thing I get mad with is laziness, And those that dont want to learn how to do the quest. If you dont know how to do, its okay! Everyone begins from the bottom. But dammit, I stopped going to OPQ because there are so many players that dont do anything, or just go kill the mobs, or just do what they wish =/

I had this happen to me because I made a comment on party members not doing their role. The leader was a bishop spearheading the PQ to level his other character that was HP washing. I had no problem with that, but when the leader requested other members to an extra portals/door, I couldn't keep quiet. They tried to discredit me in the LPQ lobby, but the next day, found easy parties.

I have done LPQ for multiple broken glasses. You will meet the assholes, but also the good ones. If someone is wholeheartedly trying to discredit you publicly to have people exclude you from PQs. Wouldn't that be considered disruptive behavior? ToS.

Hey bro, don't worry about it. Although its never happened to me personally, I've seen it happen plenty of times in Ludi PQ, usually when they hold the down button and jump, trying to get to base as quickly as possible, but accidentally tap one too many times which ends up with them trying to molest the golems, and the golems giving them a nice tight slap.

If they are holding ticks, sure the PQ ends right there, but no matter, it just means they'll do it a bit more carefully next time.

If the people i'm with start flaming over a little error like that, i'm pretty much guaranteed to leave the party instantly because running the party with such narrow minded dipshits would make it even more of a pain than running with a newbie.

That said, the only thing that really gets me ticked off in Ludi PQ is the sheer number of afk fuck offs that think their time is so much more valuable than our own. The moment i see one in party, i'll directly say that if i see them afking the next round, i'll leave the party or if i'm the leader, expel them. and re-start, damn the consequences.

    TLDR:

I screwed up in my PQ and got flamed by party members. Come on man to err is human.

OP you seem to take things too seriously. It's just a game no need to cry about every little bad things. Sorry to be blunt but your recent threads made me say this.

OP, did you perhaps go by the name “Genesis” or “action” on another server in the past?

It's not nice to kick somebody after an honest mistake, but keep in mind they aren't obligated to be nice to you or even party with you. That's just how human interaction goes, lol. Not much you can do besides move on and try to be nice to people :)

In the bigger picture, it's really not a big deal in the slightest. I've seen people make mistakes in LPQ all the time to the point that it's kind of comical (but also annoying f3).

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your messages, it's nice to hear you have a lot to say and share about this. I'll reply to each one of you since you brought up a lot of interesting issues.

Yeah, not a big deal, you're right. I get it. I usually was actually able to just find another, like you said, and it didn't permanently hurt the reputation. But sometimes it takes a while until people forget about the failure.

Yeah, I know. Sometimes, I refuse to be a party leader in a PQ because I simply dont know how to do it properly. That's one way of avoiding a failure.

Yeah, a lot of times I was too forgiving and didn't report players who had annoyed me, but next time I probably won't be quiet about it again. Good point.

Yeah, there are a lot of party members who are actually a lot worse than me in the PQ, and they dont realize it. They blame me for little things when they are the ones who had caused the biggest problem. That's "part of the game" sometimes, you have to get over it and deal with it.

Tell them to google "human". That'd be enough.

In some way, you are probably right about what you say. But, I'm not literally crying over anything, and this wasn't made with the intention to merely complain. But to also hear other's opinions and thoughts. It's fair and legitimate to do that.

I've played other private servers in the past, but never used these names. Who is the player you're talking about? I don't think I know him or her.

Yeah, sometimes you can't change how other players behave. In fact, you can almost never change, unless they specifically listen to you, which is rare. I never even tried to teach manners to anyone yet, atleast not formally.
