There's a fine art in sacking people when you're bored because there's nothing better to do in this game. @yakul
What else can sacks be used for other than killing fellow Maplers? If it's bannable, just remove sacks entirely.
Regarding ur 1st sentence, i believe the intended purpose of monster sacks is basically what they warn u when u try to use 1. To summon mobs to enhance ur training and level up faster. Not trying to say sacking people is bad. Its hilarious when u see some mage with a golden medal die to the mobs
Ah... I never thought of it that way. Maybe I should try this one day, as an alternative to Orbis Exchange and leech and other stuff people do.
I haven't got the faintest idea either. I assume its because other maplers, typically the newbies who just died, would probably feel rather upset bout losing a chunk of exp for no reason. That said, i only said it was a bannable offence because i vaguely remember someone from my guild complaining bout being "sacked", and another person replied that he should have taken a screen shot to report the "sacker" because it could get the "sacker" banned, especially if done multiple times in a row like the OP did. I personally haven't had reason to go to PQ lobbies in a long time, nor do i afk pointlessly out in the open, so i haven't been "sacked" before. Edit: I don't use sacks very often (or at all) but iirc, when you use sack to spawn a boss, they can drop NX tickets.
In GMS, I used to sack AFK people at the maps I grinded on. Then they would die and I could take their map. I was young then. In Royals I am a good boy
i believe there are only 2 circumstances in which sacking would be bannable 1st of is under Harrassment, which is to say the sacker continuously sacks just 1 person, or a group of people even if they tell the sacker to stop. 2nd would be something that i dont believe anyone would do. that would be to sack the same place every single day and kill multiple people and basically just disrupt everyone's playing. this would fall under Objectionable Behaviour (Disruption). DISCLAIMER: These are just my personal opinions and my own interpretation of the Game's T&C and does not reflect the staff's opinion so please dun come find me if they dont ban someone who does either of these 2 things
Based on what you said @Tect, it would be hilarious if some poor sap just so happens to be there when OP sacked the map, in all those spots. Started at ludi, got sacked. Upset, so he went to kerning to get some exp back because no one else was coming back to ludi, got sacked again. So he went to orbis because even though there isn't a lot of people there, he doubted the sacker would be so bored as to come all the way to orbis to sack people, voila. Got sacked again.
I have a faintest memory of seeing someone get banned before for similar cause..... There was also a youtuber who recorded stuff like this. Amount of hatred he got was real back then. I just hope your path won't cross with my newbie guildies.
