im currently lvl 65 assasin with 2115 HP (if u calculate with HB its 2115 x 1.6 = 3384 hp) i want to buy a zakum helmet but i dont know if i will be able to survive the damage of the zakum do i need def gear to help me go through it? also how long does it take? and also if any guild here sells i'd like to buy
Not really. You are close enough that your auto pot might fail you accidentally. Some HP equip would mitigate the risk and bump you up to 3.5k. I regularly go in to zak with 3.5k HP and do fine provided I watch out for zak's 1/1 skill. Buy some cheap HP scrolls, scroll whatever you need, 120hp is easy to get. That blunt donut thing for example gives 100hp I think? You could even invest in a silver deputy star.
Well, your hp and mp bar drop to 1 each, it's probably a safe bet that its time for you to spam your pots manually. As for how exactly to tell, i'd say you should go watch a video. Find one of the corsair guides on this forum, they typically have very mechanically precise zakum run videos thanks to their ship mechanics, it'll help you understand which of zakum's tells you need to deal with and which you can safely ignore. Some do, some don't. Best not to rely on them. As for potions to use, Power Elixirs are best. Bring about 400, 500 if you can wing it. Some parties might take a while, which means you need more of them, but typically 350 is the average.
I used 1000 Ginger ales when I bought my first zhelm on my mage. You might wanna take some extra in case the run gets prolonged.
To be fair, I get tonnes of power elixir for free from grinding. Never occurred to me to buy Cheese but this is indeed a good point if you're only worried bout HP.
