Hey Pirates, I got a noob question, but I have never been a Marauder before. So my question is: I put one point on energy charge at lv70 as the guides suggested and at lv71 I put 1 into Energy Drain and 2 into Energy Blast but now I got the problem, that Energy Charge is almost never triggered. I need to hit several minutes until sometimes I see this bubble coming up.. Am I doing something wrong? Or should I lvl up Energy Charge so it triggers more often? As it is now, I simply can NOT use my 3rd job skills which is actually quite sad ... Best regards
max out energy charge first, and then energy blast after that There should be a small blue bar on your screen indicating how close you are to full charge. It charges very slowly until lvl 20+, so you have to just endure it until Energy charge is maxed.
Due to the max lvl of Energy Charge, you'll hardly notice an increase in the speed at which you charge energy, so you're pretty much gonna have to deal with the slow charge rate until like lvl 80+ or so. It's worth it by the end if you just persevere and keep lvling it though. You should be able to max out Energy Charge and Energy blast by around lvl 95 or so. If you want to, I switched it up a bit while lvling my bucc when I was in 3rd job. I got Energy Charge to around lvl 30 when I was comfortable with the speed at which I charged energy, then swapped to lvling Energy Blast to at least lvl 21 so I could hit 4 mobs, then went back to maxing Charge. It's gonna be boring for a while, but just keep it up, I believe in you
Also as Shane said in his comment above, there's a blue bar on the screen that tells you the level of your current charge. When you first start charging energy, it might be in a weird spot on the screen so try to look for it as it's a pretty small bar, then move it to a spot on the screen that's easier to see.
