I hope I'm posting this in the right place and all (if not and a GM can be so kind and move it I'll be super grateful). So I thought this could be a fun little thread of random pieces of advice. For example, when you do something really silly, or just have / recently learned a little rule you stick by - you can put it in here! (Like mini sentences of wiseness / lessons learned etc) I'd love to see what you guys are coming up with! Please stick to giving each other advice rather than getting into arguments about anything anyone says <3 So, I'll start this off with; If it's after 2am IT IS PROBABLY A BAD IDEA. Go to sleep.
Fold your laundry right when it's finished drying... Or you'll end up leaving it on the floor the entire week.. By the time you finally decide to fold and hang it, there will be two..three more loads to fold with the first load you've done weeks ago
If you start a book, finish the book before starting a new one. Otherwise you'll be mid-way through 6 books with all the plotlines mixed up
if you have a garden that's getting swamped by bugs, a natural pesticide are praying mantis. you can probs buy eggs from amazon or your local hardware store. as long as there are bugs around to eat they will stay and keep your vegetables/other plants clean. (note, i don't think they eat snails. buy those pellet things if you got snails.)
LMAO. This was tested on me. Js. When slapping someone's ass, use entire hand as it doesn't feel right unless you get a full feel of it.
If you ever get a weird feeling in your hand where it feels like your hand is hard and numb simply stand up and let it hang down and shake it until the feeling is back to normal which usually takes 5 seconds. (Happens when I have my arm in a weird position for long periods of time or if I fell asleep on it.) WORKS ALL THE TIME BUT TOOK ME YEARS TO FIGURE. NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW THIS LIFEHACK!
^ That's because that numb feeling is from constricted blood circulation usually. If you raise it up above your head, it does the same thing- forces your body to re-circulate the blood back into your hand.
