The main issue is that when i open the game, the window pops up, then as normal, says (not responding), so i wait, and i know its suppose to lunch the game, but instead, it shuts down. and whats even weirder is that i don't even get a bug note, just shuts down, no reason. I tried a lots of things: (1) re-downloaded and reinstalled (from all the website links) (2) made the folder and the .exe file excluded in the widows protection settings. (3) checked all my drivers, just in case... (4) downloaded others servers to see if this happens (id don't) please, i like this server and i'm all out of ideas, anyone with similar problem or a smart solution? i will be grateful to anyone willing to help!
When launching, try not to do anything else and let the client loads. Sometimes it happens to me where my client just stop responding and shut down. Also worthy to try not opening any other programs and just launch MapleRoyals.
I get that every other time I play Royals. If you haven't rebooted your pc in a while, do that. Otherwise, just keep trying. Sometime it takes 5-10 tries to open.
How long has this been occurring? Are you using Windows 10? Every so often Microsoft will deploy an update and it (somehow) stops most pre-v14x servers from launching. Check to see if there was an update around the time this started happening and reverse the update. After a while the update will force itself back onto your computer, but I've never had any problems after reversing the initial installation. Signs of an update impacting the launching of a client are; - Like you stated above... Launch client -> Black screen -> Not Responding - The client doesn't launch at all (No Task Manager task, no loading wheel cursor, etc.)
okay so i followed both the suggestions, restarting my computer, opening the .exe a few times, no opening any other program while i do so. and this works for me, i mean, takes me 30 secs to get into the game but other then that, i play smoothly. thanks for all the help! i really appreciate you guys <3
