This glitch/bug has been around since at least last years cake event and still exists! You can bring attack summons (e.g Bahamut, Phoenix, Frostprey, etc.) or skill buffs (e.g shadow partner, weapon boosters) if you follow these steps. Steps: 1. Open up the NPC chat. 2. Press enter to begin the warp to the event map. 3. Before you get warped there is a small delay. During this delay spam the hotkey of the skill you want to bring in. (i.e press enter and then spam your desired skill) 4. If successful you will have begun to cast the spell before you were warped in and will now have it on the event map! Notes: Works best if you are laggy
Update: If you use your summon and go onto your mount before entering the map, your summon will stay!
Reminder for y’all: Glitch Abuse - The act of exploiting any errors in game design or any features or bugs, documented or otherwise, that are not meant to be available in order to gain any sort of competitive advantage. Punishment: First offense - 14 day ban, Second offense- Permanent ban. Wait for them to fix the glitch and don’t use it or you’ll get banned when caught.
As we're near the end of the event, and also because it won't make sense to patch so soon after it, we decided to forego this fix. We'll keep this in mind for the next times we run the event.
