Currently brandish at LVL 1 hits 1 target, what I'm suggesting is changing it to 3 targets as it's a 4th job skill it should be much stronger so that people doesn't rely on slash blast for mobbing until lvl 126. Ofc change the % damage to whatever it suppose to be So Heroes will be able to grind with ease before getting brandish to lvl 21. Currently people are leeching this might help heroes to start grinding rather than relying on leech TIA.
Just like any early job advancement, it's going to seem under-powered at first. That just means you have to work your way to make it good.
why tf wld ur brandish ever be at lvl 1? u get 3 sp when u advance bro. just add all to brandish. to get 2 target u nid to get it to lvl 11, meaning at lvl 123, ur brandish is at lvl 12 == double target. just go hit some hh or something. gaining exp isnt all abt grinding. n b4 u say shit like 2 targets is shit, i personally grinded with my hero with 2 target brandish. it wasnt all tat bad. managed to get my silver mane set through pure grinding (cos im self proclaimed "poor af").
right ya forgot abt rush. not sure abt aca tho i just added my sp to brandish cos it looked cool. but for the most part, u get to 121 rather easily. just do all the skill quests. u get a shit load of exp from each of them so u basically level up to 121 quite fast. and even then, with 1 rush, 1 aca, then dump into brandish, u still can get to double target at 124. an additional level of grinding isnt gonna kill u. like i said previously, grinding isnt the only way to level up in 4th job. there are alr ppl killing hh in 3rd job. u can definitely do the same as a hero. u can also get carried in pap by ur friends. if u hv no friends then go find some. join a guild or something. theres bound to be some friendly ppl willing to carry u. but errr u know. if u play ironman then tats too bad.
Although a player has to go through zakum, I found aca worth adding 1 point to at 120, since it significantly makes ps, sb and coma, and brandish stronger.
Yes, I've played Hero and adding 1 to aca if you can is best. It adds more damage overall. Some started putting lots of points into it when brandish is only lvl 20 in the GMS days when the BR30 book was rare. It adds lots of damage too. Even putting points in aca before brandish is perfectly reasonable. Many classes are weak until ~126. Sair is another that comes to mind.
Just delete your Hero and make a Nightlord. You won't ever have to worry about multi target hitting anymore.
The only issues that I faced when I just job advanced is mobbing (For rush quest). I don't think any other job has issues with mobbing, how is it unreasonable to ask for brandish hit 3 monsters, when other classes are able to mob with ease @ lvl 120. For example shad, pally, bucc. Even shad hits 2 target with lvl 1 BS I doubt there's any class that has problem with mobbing after advancing to 4th job Not that it affects me anymore as I was able to self-leeched through the early levels but for the other Heroes QOL who doesn't have a leecher or plan to buy leech, this might help them a lil
