Hello, I am a 175 DK and I would like to do toad with a friend. Anyone that can give me some tips/guidance to serk at toad. For instance what potions do I use, what auto HP % ? Stats: 30k HP with HB Max Achilles 434 magic def (beholder) 576 weap def (beholder) Thanks in advance
I am not saying this is the most optimal way to do it, but this is how I do it: I use milks as my pet auto hp with it set to 30% (30% of 30k is 9k, so your milk will never heal you above 14k). I prefer milk as the auto pot over cheese for toad since the extra 1k really adds up when he is hitting you super hard with every hit. I have milks, cheese, and ice pops (the 2000hp ones) all available to use as needed since you need to manual pot ontop of your pet pot after every hit. I keep my hp between 13.5 and 14.9k, since with my gear he does not hit harder than ~13.3k in his 2nd form, it should be similar for you as well. I use these 3 potions (2000 4000 and 5000) because by combining the order you eat them, you can heal for 6k, 7k, 8k, and 9k depending on how you use them, giving you the flexibility to stay within that very small margin of safe health that allows you to keep your zerk. You pretty much just have to do quick maths every time you get hit and use the 3 potions available to you to end up with 13.5-14.9 to keep your zerk going. It is stressful but it is very possible after you practice it.
And people complain about DrK being the highest DPS Class out of all Warriors. It's only fair to reward Dark Knight Players to put up with this anxiety
