Aren't you guys upset the moment you come home after a long day of work.. logging into Royals and boom.. store dissappeared (because of a servercheck). Anyway.. just a waste of NX, selling time and a beautiful spot.. Could there be a way to get some allowance? Thank you ~
Dude, they don't even compensate you when the server goes down for an extended period, when a server-sided glitch makes your item disappear permanently, or when they wrongfully ban you. There is zero chance they'll do so for a routine server check lol.
GMS extended the duration of cash items by 24 hours after every maintenance iirc. All cash items are permanent here, so that won't do much, but maybe it could be applied to stores? 24 hours may be too much, but some form of time extention would be nice.
They do compensate with extended events if the server is down for an extended period, so they do compensate for something.... The topics you address concerning player bound items or bans are a different case, those things are to complex to change for the general population. However, I do agree that a compensation in store extension would be fair after a server check, since this applies to the whole server and isn't a specific player-bound exception/extension. We had 3 server checks in (almost) 2 weeks now and, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the work being done in these downtime. For me though, and I think for a lot of others, one server check and thus downtime, closes my shop for multiple hours since I am not active every single minute a day. I need to study and sleep too unfortunately. Not that unfortunate, sleeping is the best thing ever. I do think this should be taken into consideration.
Based on what you wrote, extending the store hours doesn't solve the issue of beautiful spot Any proposals to resolve that?
Server checks like these are actually healthy for the server. I bet it's frustrating but it gives other maplers who happen to be in the game to hold FM spots to which they could not grab before. If you notice, the server checks are not conducted at a particular time of day. Rather, they happen at random times of the day which ensures everyone is given a fair chance to grab the spots they need. It happens to every single player who owns an FM spot so there's not really a need for compensation. The needless compensation has been the way since the server started.
Normally we'll give extend expirable items if a server check goes beyond its planned timeframe. We have also done it for time-limited events.
