No sound

This morning when I launched the client, the sound came out for a brief second and got completely muted all the sudden. I checked the settings but it didn't fixed the solution. The entire sound including BGM and sound effects just doesn't come out all the sudden. I tried uninstall and reinstalled the entire client but nothing changed. Any help?

 

Did you check if you accidentally disabled your speakers?

Try playing some YouTube videos...

 

Yes, the sound comes out properly in other things expect for MapleRoyals

 

Are you playing on windows 10? I found having spatial sound enabled mutes royals for some reason.

Edit: Only BGM though, sounds otherwise work for me

That's odd... did you check the settings in MapleRoyals to make sure the bgm and effect isn't muted?

 

Apology for the late response. Yes, I checked the setting. The BGM and effects are all turned on. What's happening right now is that when I launch the game and made it to the login part, all the sounds suddenly gets muted. That's what's happening. Strangely, if I plug my earbuds and play, they don't get muted. It's been irritating to play the game with earbuds.

Sounds like the Royals client is stuck playing to the wrong output device. Is the device for your earplugs in playback devices showing up as default / playing even when they are not plugged in (are your speakers your default playback device)?
