Does someone seriously like jump quest as a requirement?

I'm not going to extend much, I can get to understand that some people like it, I've even got to participate in some that have entertained me (despite how bad I am) but I've seen many publications on how, the jump quest before the bosses it is something very annoying, recently I read "toad is not worth it for the jump quest" and the truth I think to many as to me, more than entertaining or nostalgic, it is simply annoying to do them as a REQUIREMENT, in my opinion " kills "some boss runs which gives the game less variety and I've seen the admin and gms say something like" that was how its originally designed "," is part of the challenge "" is nostalgic "and to that I answer" not all the challenges, or difficult things are fun / entertaining some are just annoying "and with those of nostalgic: I tell you that once when I was 8 years old I shit in my pants in front of my schoolmates, of course it is a nostalgic memory, but not very memorable or funny. I do not propose that you eliminate all the jump quest, because as I said some are entertaining, I not goin to put this in feedback because it seems to me a very subjective topic, that's why I publish it here, what do you think, they should eliminate the jump quest as a requirement for the most important bosses?

Yes, I love jump quests. Ive done all of them, both on Royals and back in GMS. Ive done the Zak JQ multiple times and wish there were more like the classics.

EDIT: If anything get rid if the "PQ" in Zak. I love PQs but that is an abomination.

It reminds me of games like Megaman where platforming was the game. In fact, Megaman was probably the reason why I like Maplestory so much. Side-scrollers are amazing. The only thing that kinda stinks is that the JQ in MS usually don't give great rewards outside first completion (and Zak).

The fact that Maplestory is a 2D MMO and actually has a reason for its jumping component is fantastic, though. Think of every other MMO out there - jumping is almost always unnecessary.

 

Boss jump quest as an alternative? this is a bad one though in my opinion, we should not try to make the game easier, but a better one.

Im not talking about making it easier, i can undrrstand some ppl like JQ, but for others is frustating and annoying, i said that jump quest can be an alternayive just for ppl like u who like it, theres some hard pre quest, that dorsnt involve a jump quest, like ht, tot questline and cwpq(can be skipped) and its challengin anyways...

 

Can't stand em personally. I don't see why they should be involved with any aspect of the game beyond fun/hobbies, but it was a part of gMS back in the day (only difference was you could have a friend do it for you without being punished) so I can't commit to taking them out of the quest lines they were a part of back then since I favor an old school, nostalgic approach. What I can get on board with is getting rid of them from GM events/holiday events....please for the love of god.

 

I did this instead of the JQ and despite it being time consuming it is 10000000000000000000000x better if you're not a JQ person like myself. SO grateful this alternative was implemented because without it ya boi would not be Zakking..ever lmao

Not yet! I've been playing the old ones and working my way back up to completion. I'm currently on 9, but now I got the Maplestory bug again.

 

this quest, isnt hard, IS INSANE, i this quest is fine to get the 999all stats gm hat, not a zhelm

For real, shame most people don't suck miserably at JQs lol! I admittedly I bought a lot of the tradeable etcs and it was worth every penny.
