Hello, I am adding to this because my appeal was closed and I feel that I did not have the chance to explain myself or give any information to why.

From my reply within the forum, I said: To add to this, I really had no idea this was a bannable offense, if I knew, I would not have done this in the first place. This was just to see if it was actually a possible thing to do. I promise I will not do it again.

To enumerate; I really did have no clue that it was this serious, I did this all just to joke around. I really do promise to not chat spam it again, I was not in the right mind to make this decision. I had no intentions in doing this to actually receive or give money, I am perfectly fine with playing the game as it is. I deeply apologize for this. I had no knowledge of bannable offences in the game and I feel like I personally should have gotten a warning via email or in game as I have no history with real world trading. I now realize that soliciting is not allowed in any form in MapleRoyals. Not only will I be leaving the nostalgic feel Mapleroyals, but the community and friends that I have made on the way.

I am asking for a second chance from not only the staff but also the community, I will be willing to do whatever they ask.

    Thank you,
    Christopher Ocariza

It really does not matter why you did what you did. You broke the rules that you have agreed to by signing up to maple royals and that is why you suffered the consequences. Please stop making ban appeals.

@Hampa I just read over the Game Terms & Conditions.
    There's a difference between:
Real World Trading - The act of exploiting the software or the game for any sort of commercial purpose, including buying or selling items, mesos, or services for real world currency or barter, or additionally, any and all solicitation, advertisement or other promotion of the aforementioned. Punishment: Permanent ban.

    &

Solicitation - The act of advertising or soliciting any sort of commercial opportunities of any nature, including chain letters, pyramid schemes, investment opportunities or commercial advertising, or additionally providing access to any location that does the above. Punishment: First offense - 7 day ban, Second offense - Permanent ban.

Is there a way you could read the in-game chat logs? I thought I would be soliciting rather than Real World Trading. I have no history or conversations with any other player that involves Real World Trading, from what I remember, I believe I was just advertising.

Real world trading rule includes solicitation. Solicitation rule is aimed towards other types of solicitation that are not already included under other rules.
