Farewell Royals <3

Hello Royals,
I don't even know where to start with this farewell, but I guess I'll start off with saying that it has been fucking awesome since the day I joined this server. This was the first server I played on since quitting GMS years ago and I'm glad that it was. The community in this server is by far one of the most interesting, awesome, & nicest communities I've been apart of and I'm glad that I got to be part of it. I'm leaving for two main reasons, the second reason being the most significant. Firstly, as much as I wanted to say I was handling classes well with Royals, I wasn't. I was able to get my work done, but I was losing sleep just to get on after my workload has been finished, ultimately leading to feeling super tired during the days and in classes. It was totally fine putting in major hours during the summer because my obligations weren't as high, but now with classes back in session, I need to remember my priorities at this time of my life. By quitting Royals for good, I will be able to fully concentrate on what I should be concentrating on. OK, secondly and more importantly, bare with me guys, this is about to escalate quickly (insert meme here). I'm a very competitive person and I always have been and I always will be. I've played sports all my life and even got blessed with a couple years of collegiate soccer. Point is, I always play to win. I remember back in my GMS days, besides all the hacking I did, I always found it easier to control the free market when you were perceived as a girl. So that's exactly what I did when I first joined the server with a friend (his/her name will not be said for privacy and security reasons even though he/she is long gone in regards of being active). I made characters on this server just to hack and use that good old cheat engine again. It didn't take long for me to realize that I wouldn't get that far by hacking on this server because...wow, the GM's actually give a shit and that I was running around with IGN's such as v62hacker, v62hactivist, et cetera. So I went on with a new plan after bypassing. Made a legit female character, even though I am male myself, to have the best chances of "winning" this game legitimately because I definitely took appeal to the server since it finished downloading (maple was my childhood game). I never really acted like a "girl", especially in my earlier levels when I guess I wasn't as "known". But just like in my childhood, I got addicted to the game in the strive to have the best of the best and be the richest of the richest, so I kept going with it. It got a lot more serious when I applied for GM and ultimately hitting that job...as "Ashlee". I hit everything I wanted to in this game. I somehow made it to the top as "Ashlee". So I'm leaving on that note as well. As much as I really wanted to connect with certain people sometimes as my true self, I couldn't at the time with the idea of possibly hitting that GM spot and once I did, there was just nothing for me to do on Royals anymore. I achieved what I wanted to achieve. I got to the last level in the game (not lvl 200 in my eyes, something beyond a normal player can achieve). With all that being said...I want to address all of you:

To my buddy list: Haha you guys are fucking awesome. If I couldn't act like myself in a situation, I tended to do a lot of ignoring (sorry </3). But with those certain people and those certain times I could act like myself in a conversation, they were the best times! You're all amazing people and I am sorry for lying to you guys.

To Extravagance (old & new): Much. Fucking. Love. This is the chat I usually let pretty loose on and acted myself with the occasional being "nice" here and there. I'm surprised no one ever said or brought up anything...specially with the way I talk in chat sometimes. Regardless, you're all the coolest people I've met on Royals and I am truly sorry for lying to you guys about myself. Hope you all achieve the highest of highs in Royals and more importantly, in real life <3

To the staff: First off, let me say thank you for giving me the opportunity. The fact that I lied to you guys didn't mean my work ethic was sub-par. I did my best to help the community as well as achieve everything you guys wanted of me as a GM. I am truly and sincerely sorry for just coming out like this, but I feel like it's just easier this way as I was hiding from everyone else as well. I didn't really get to know all of you that well, but it was a pleasure working by your sides. You're all VERY talented and VERY determined and I sincerely wish the best for your futures in Royals and in real life as well. John, thanks for everything yo. I really hope you understand, as well as the rest of you. I just ask of one thing. Not sure what the intentions will be about this post, but I'm asking if you can leave this post up so people can know the truth.

To " ": You know who you are. You were by far the coolest person I've met on Royals and I know you already know all this, but I just wanted to say sorry one more time. For everything. Hoping the nursing and classes are going swell, "slut"!

For my last actions as a GM: I am permanently banning my accounts along with all the items and mesos on them then banning myself as a GM by doing high damage to a petrifighter without being on the GM client.

IN CONCLUSION: I just really want to apologize one last time to all of you for my actions. I hope you guys understand and I wish you all the best of the best in your future endeavors.

Thank you for helping me back on maple island, while I can't say our friendship has been strong, thank you for just talking to me all the time (in the fm those few times, if you remember). I didn't think you'd quit - I thought we would have more fun playing with each other. Thank for you #extravagance and thank you for really helping around. I know that you loved this community and I hate to see you leave like this (regardless of your real identity).

So in short, you hacked here, obviously, ban evaded, made a fake legit female character (I'd lie if I didn't say I had my doubts of your legitimacy as a girl), nested your way into becoming a GM, and then revealing your true nature? Kudos to you, sir. Well played!

I can't say I'm happy/sad about your departure (probably the sooner, due to lying etc) since I didn't really know you at all, I'm just amazed by your accomplishments here and wish you good luck in the future.

The only thing that surprises me here is that the second reason was valued higher as to why you're resigning. -_-

Anyone who becomes a GM wether it be a hacker or not really makes little to no difference. Both will most likely become good GMs anyways. Authority changes people.

Think I'm lying? Let me choose an abuser and a non-abuser of my own choice, make them GMs for 15min and see which one of them becomes the nicest.

As much as I don't want to admit it, I'm pretty disappointed. Lying about your gender is one thing, but also hacking and deceiving many of us by living a lie is another. I'm also a very competitive person in this game to a certain extent and I have had slight inkling feelings of hacking, but after communicating and networking with our community, I figured that is no reason for any sort of cheating.

I have mixed feelings when it comes to this. Perhaps the fact that we lived in the same city (if that's even true) is one reason why I feel personally upset or having felt like being taken for chumps because the 'Staff' should be the last bastion of truth left in this server.

Ho-lee-shit. Just read this and realized that I banned you like at least 4 or 5 times before you went legit. If I were at home right now, I'd post some nice screenshots (evidence for hacking) for a sense of nostalgia. I have to say that this is by far (and really BY FAR) the weirdest thing I've read in the year I've been here.

This shows though people can be a much different person if they try hard enough. There's also a lot of Private Server owners that used to hack and now run a successful server against hackers. In my opinion its even a profit if you know how to hack and now run a server, because you also have experience how hacks work and how to patch them. All this gender stuff is a way different story though, but if this person did a good job as GM (I don't know how well he did), I don't see a reason to be mad about what he did. If he did a good job as staff, than respect what he did. Yes, he hacked, but he ended up helping the community. I administrated a server for 4 years and early in begin of this said server, I did a lot of mistakes and this included hacking. So yes, people can fix themselves and sometimes the history can hurt once you hear about the bad parts.
