It's one thing to lie about gender. I don't care if someone is transgender, gender fluid, or what. Just tell the truth. I don't care if they just want to play a girl character - two of my four characters are male because I like the male NX better. But to lie about who you really are behind the avatar is just wrong. To lie, get accepted as staff and to *keep* lying is double wrong. You're given a lot of trust, and to turn around and break it all... Not cool.

I've never really talked to you, even after you joined staff. However, it's safe to say that you're a scumbag.

I'd be lying if I said that I wished you luck in life.

Also, this is why we usually only hire people that we know on a personal level... It's so hard to trust anyone nowadays.

 

I am disappointed on so many levels. You had been auto banned several times and convinced us that you were on a library computer so we unbanned you and told you not to play there again. "Fool me once, shame on me." You then further lied throughout your staff application. If you didn't want to specify your gender, or didn't want to provide details, you could have PMed a staff member to find out what to do. Instead you flat out lied.

To make matters worse, Manny reported to me last month when looking up account info, your GM account came up along with accounts previously banned for hacking. I came to you and asked what was going on and you lied right to me about what had happened and why it probably was like that. You seemed to be a good person, we had good conversations, and we trusted you so I gave you the benefit of the doubt and let you continue on.

Finally, you may be wondering why I messaged you this morning before this post on Skype to see if you were there. I found in the GM logs you had been giving RP to not only one of your legit characters, but to other people as well. The giving out of the RP is the absolute worst thing you could have done. I wasn't planning on making this part known, but since people have mixed opinions about you, I want people to see what you actually are, a liar and a thief. Good riddance.

This and the fact you lied when you were questioned about it changed my opinion completely, but that happens when I said I don't know how well you did. I had a bit of respect of what you did, but if you leave with abuse of power before you go, my respect for your good job went from fine to nothing. I now agree with everyone that is upset about the truth.

 

I only have the time to reply to this for now because I find it urgent to get the truth out. All those characters are mine that have been given RP. SoundRemedy & FMFMFMFMFMFM. They are banned as well. The only time I ever gave out RP to other people is when I told you I did by accident. When two people did not receive their RP immediately and posted threads about it. I have never abused or planned on abusing the RP system as I know it had to do with real money. You may check the IP info on the accounts that have been given RP if you'd like. They will all lead back to me. I took the job seriously.

 

It doesn't matter to me if you're a guy or a girl, nor that you didn't tell us the truth about it. What gender you are isn't relevant to your suitability or otherwise as a GM. What does bother me as a member of staff is that used us and betrayed our trust in matters related to the game. It saddens and disgusts me that some people consider this laudable. I don't hate you; in fact I did enjoy your company when you were around. However, I hope you can find more a more positive outlet for your competitive streak than deceiving people to get to the "top".

 

Wow... This is a lot to take in.

First of all, you were pretty cool. I still think you're pretty cool despite this delusion. You're probably someone I wouldn't mind hanging out with (assuming all our interactions weren't a ruse.)

This breaks trust on so many levels. When John was asking about potential staff hires I went out of my way to vouch for you, because I thought you'd be a good GM. Now I don't know if that was true of all fake. As Dan said above, we don't like to hire GMs that we don't know personally, and this is exactly why. (Hence allegations of favoritism.) I thought I knew you well enough vouch for you, I guess I didn't. I don't really know how to feel.

But you were also a good GM from my perspective. You put in lots of time, and did a lot for the community, but was that also part of your ruse? I don't even know what to think...

It doesn't matter who it was. You gave away RP to your legits. In fact, you were even told no one gives RP except Matt since he deals with donations. You didn't donate, so you had no business giving your legits RP. It sickens me you think you can even defend that behavior.

 

Then sorry I was misinformed. I distinctly remember you telling me I could pretty much do anything that wouldn't change game play. So I decked out my characters with RP. You've seen the logs, it's a lot of RP. I thought of it as giving myself RP like I was giving "Ashlee" RP, which none of you had problems with. I guess I just figured that looking cool in regards of RP-wear in front of everyone might stimulate them to purchase RP themselves. I also have donated once on Sivir and I don't regret it. I'm sorry I have to go for now, but I'll try to clear more things up later.

 

That seems unlikely to me... One thing I remember about when I joined staff was that one of the first things said was "don't ever give your legit stuff"... I mean, it's kind of obvious, come on.
