I was feeling down today, but then I read this thread. Thanks for the confidence boost!

 

I'd also be lying if I said I didn't have my suspicions, but I figured no one would really go this far to even lie about their gender while being a Staff member (well, in addition to everything else).

I don't even know what to say to this, I thought you were a good and honest person who really cared, I think the whole "competitive" thing is complete bulllshit. I consider myself really competitive also, my goal when I joined was to rise through the rankings relatively fast until I hit 200 which is what I did through persistence and playing the game the way it's meant to be played whether gaining levels or even economically through the FM, I am not trying to brag in any way but I've dominated both domains at some point and time on here, not through hacking or deception but just through good old hard work and dedication, that's what I'm really disappointed of, the fact that you lied in your ban appeals and even having the nerve to lie your way to becoming a staff member sickens me, using "competitiveness" as an excuse for your actions is sad. Although I've lost respect for you, I at least hope you've learned from your actions so you can improve yourself, good luck with everything.

Although we haven't talked in the last few months, even with past experiences beforehand, I never would've suspected this "game" you played on everybody. Something tells me to be impressed by playing us all but also a bit guilty that I had trusted you. However, you made my experiences great when you took me in to Extravagance. No matter who you are or if you lie, you being a staff kind of changed you from a hacker to a person who helped people in game. You had done your job and despite all those lies actually made contribution.

Well atleast you're gone, to be honest my whole buddy list on "Nefarious/PoisonFang" knew I hated you. There was just SOMETHING about you that irked me and I held this grudge against you ever since. I guess I may as well confess it now: Your manipulation to sell leech to priests in exchange for HS was ridiculous. Angered me (my BL knows the caps lock rage spam that would happen in the chat LOL). But, this isn't about my hatred.. If you put me as a GM and another hacker as a GM, i'm sure I would perform much better.

This abuse is on a whole new ridiculous level. It seemed fine when you hosted events, since I just started Maple Royals recently and became an active member.
Most of the GM events I've been to, although I haven't won yet, were from you, which I appreciate. Although this isn't on the level of deceive because I don't know you that well as a new player, I certainly cannot sympathize with you, there is a difference between competition, and using illegal methods to gain advantage. There is no game in this world that would be fun if you had everything and anything, except MMORPGS, but what's the point? Where's the enjoyment if you're going to abuse powers/hack to get it? A game is fun because of the accomplishments, if you wanted items, you can just write "$5,000,000,000,000,000 US" to yourself on a piece of paper, which is not much different from what's only digital data. Hacking is inexcusable, but abusing trust and friendship is the worst of the worst. If I had to be blunt and honest, you're quite the disgrace of a GM, someone far more unfit then I, a new player. I believe a GM is there is to guide, lead, and support the players into supporting both the server and contributing to a good economy and community. Along with making many friends on the way, you can enjoy yourself not similar to something like a dictator, but as a respected leader of this game.
You may as well shrug it off and say "Meh, it's just a game", which is true, I agree, just a simple game that is probably a past-time for you, and since the GMs don't know you in real life, they can't track you down and attack you or anything. But the emotions of the people in the game are real, the connections are real, they're not fake.
You give me the feeling that you have the mindset of a scammer, of feelings and items. A scammer disregards those around them, and takes from others like they are just destroying a snack machine and taking the snacks from it.
I'm not saying for certain you're a terrible person in real life, as I do not even know you in real life, but I can certainly conclude that you and not a person to be respected, but to be hated in a server with such a close-knit community.
I can be a better GM. =_=

the only real bitterness i held against you was that odyssey basically died starting with you leaving :I
apart from that, you didn't seem like a bad guy but it irks me greatly that a former hacker was able to not only get their 5th/6th chance at playing here again, but also deceive a majority of staff to eventually become a gm.
even so, i can genuinely say i'm impressed hahaha.
