I was planning on using this and scrolling this myself, but since I'm almost hitting my goal and scrolling a better robe will cost me a large chunk, I might as well sell this since I got it as a drop anyway.
I'm interested in the Doroness definitely. How does 15m sounds? 60%s not so much unfortunately. But will let you know if I ran out of them. I do need plenty of 30%s however. Like 50.
Lol. I've had offers much higher than that for this robe so I won't be accepting that. Also, I don't have any 30%s at the moment. Shame that they're only obtainable via Gachapon.
That's a shame. I will let you know if I do decide it because really I am depending on my Zak helm's luk stat to be able to wear Doroness. Wanting to replace my Zak helm soon because I failed 2x60 on it and don't feel like continuing. Might decide to go for bathrobes instead. And yeah, that's a bummer. Been smegaing whole day for 30%s and not even one get back to me.
Overall for Int 30% has always been tough to find and they fly off the shelves or almost any price. If you'd like another lecture/opinion, I'm more than welcome to explain my position on why I'd choose a bathrobe over a Mage Overall
Since you're aiming for what I can assume is One Shot Skele, your goal is 1355. Since it's not that difficult to obtain if you had a decent amount of gear and a few godly items here and there, the 6-8 Int difference between scrolling a regular Bathrobe and Mage Overall is negligible. Not only do you now have to bother with supply when it comes to Overalls, but over the long run, it might be better to invest that money elsewhere like a DPS character or even trying your luck on a Chaos Scroll. Besides, you get 5 Int every level up and taking a look at your current equips, you'll probably be getting 1355 soon so every level after reaching 1355 is more or less useless. At the same, it's not asking much to make a 25 Int Bathrobe. You only need to pass 3 30%s and 5 60%s leaving 2 slots for failure. You could probably get away with White Scrolling once or twice and still come out making a profit. Plus, because it's not locked into a class, it can be used to HP Wash which is a high selling point for me personally.
Yeah that's my goal exactly. Personally I have attempted scrolling robes. But after failing 8 2x30% bathrobes, I'm almost at the point of giving up lol. Which is why I thought of giving Doroness a try but I have to rely heavily on Zak's helm luk stat which is what I do not want because I would need a rehelm soon. I'm around 90 MA away from 1355 with a clean 6 int robe, clean helm, clean shoes, and clean dep stars. Should be possible if I get all these done plus a couple more levels.
Eventually, you'll get it. You probably don't even need a 25 Int Robe. I've been personally using a 21 Int Robe for my entire Bishop grinding and I'll be able to reach 1355 at 180. I'd only focus on something that'll give you around +10 Magic Attack. A ~20 Int Bathrobe should be fine. Also, define clean shoes because you can get a pair of Blue Jewel Boots at Bubblings with a potential of +7 Int.
If you would like a pair of +5 ints, I currently have three of them. I spent about 15 hours grinding there after reading some of plenty's equip suggestions, and they (along with ~3200 candy and 500+ mithril ores) are all I have to show for it.
Maybe we should compare our equipments someday if you do not mind so I can roughly gauge how much more INT I would need. I'm planning to hit 1355 by 190 at the max. YSS, 4 int. I'm sorry but +5 int what? Shoes? If it is, sure.
Yeah, I was referring to the blue jewelry shoes that plenty had mentioned. They're level 20 mage shoes though, so they will require the same luk that a doroness robe would.
If your goal is at 190, then you'll have no problem with hitting 1355. No use in comparing equipment because I've spent a good amount on it on perfect Earrings/Gloves (I got lucky on the Gloves). Tell me your equips and I'll give you my opinion on what would be optimal to upgrade for the least amount of money.
