    Hi,
My game just froze on 3rd and 4th run in APQ, and after a while it pop ups a "not responding" and then the game crashes with no error or message.
I have no problem at other places/boss in maplestory. Can someone help me out here?

Sorry for bumping this, but I'm also having this problem. I recently married and started APQing 2 or 3 days ago. Since I started APQing, my client has froze 3 times (2 of them back-to-back just minutes ago) and every time has been in APQ. I have no problems with any other games or even anywhere else in royals. Just APQ.

Have you tried downloading a fresh setup, uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch?

I feel like that won't help, but worth a shot I guess.

It's not really lag though. The game is fine and out of nowhere completely freezes. I have to task manager > end task to get out.

Yeah had the same problem, best workaround I could come up with was a swap partition, after I diagnosed my system for error elsewhere.

What do you mean by a swap partition?

Virtual memory, so when and if your PC uses up all the ram it will use the swap partition. But the problem with this is the Ram are much faster than an Hdd, it is not ideal to run on swap constantly (no harm done), just not the best option , since ram are used to store data so the pc can access it quicker.

Oh, I see. You mean a paging file?
So I wonder if it's a lack of RAM causing the issue.

I was fine all day yesterday with just reclienting after each apq (2 chars). The one time I attempted to do 2 in a row the client froze again, but thankfully it was the map just before entering so the run wasn't lost. I had task manager opened and noticed cpu usuage for the client shot up to 44% when it froze, while it typically sits at around 20-23%. I still haven't run into any problems outside of APQ.

Maybe try updating chipset and other drivers? Are you all using Intel?

I've had this problem since forever, no one here was helpful. I found out for APQ you have to reclient each time before each run. That worked for me.
