I've read the guides here on the forum but wanted to get some clarification on HP washing. I wanted to make a Night Lord but am reading so far that HP washing is a must if you want to boss later on. I'm attempting to start on the right foot so I don't realize mistakes 100 levels in and have to restart. Assuming I don't use INT gear at any point to supplement my MP gains (I don't have any). Does it matter if I start removing from MP and washing in to HP at level 30 or later at a higher level, for example 120? Do I need to start washing ASAP? I'm assuming I'll be able to wash until I hit the minimum MP requirement for the class? For example: From levels 30-40 for every time I level I: Save 1 AP to put in to HP then... Use an AP reset to pull from my MP.... Place the AP that I reset in to LUK... OR I hit lvl 40 and I have 10 unused AP: I pump all 10 points in to HP then... Use 10 AP resets to pull 10 AP form MP (assuming I don't hit the min MP req.) Pump 10 reset AP in to LUK All levels above are just examples but keeping in mind the min MP requirement, would I see a difference in HP gains in the end picking one method over the other? Would the HP I miss out on from not wearing INT gear be significant enough to keep me out of bossing parties? I don't mind not have the absolute max HP possible but I'm hoping to be able to boss without getting 1HKO by all bosses. Would really appreciate any helpful input from the RoyalMS community. Thank you.
What I did was just to start adding HP and later resetting it mainly into INT (and a bit of LUK as well) so I could get both base int and wash at the same time. Later when I had high enough INT I just added HP/MP (for mp washing) and didn't bother with resetting it until I got to level 135 and started bossing. Now about the methods you said, it doesn't matter if you save AP and add HP later or just add it every level (you get the same HP in the end), but what matters is that you need to get INT as soon as possible (since every level up gives MP based on your int). Also try to get 3200 HP or so by level 50 (or the level when you buy zhelm) unless you have HB And about the INT gear, you need to have enough INT to get more MP. You can do it without INT gear at all but you will need more base INT this way and a little bit of mp washing. If you have neither base INT nor INT gear your MP will be very low and you'd barely get like 8k hp or so (not enough to tank some bosses)
