Fullscreen resolution is stretched

When attempting to fullscreen the game the black bars on the sides are not there and the screen is stretched out.

Basically the game refuses to run in Maplestory's native aspect ratio and stretches itself throughout the screen.

I am running a 1920 x 1080p monitor.

I have tried several times now:
-Restarting
-Windows updates
-Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
-Properly uninstalling and reinstalling graphics drivers
-Going in compatibility and ticking 640 x 480 resolution

 

When running the client, as the game loads the screen appears like this. In its appropriate native aspect ratio.




Several seconds later the screen stretches itself throughout the screen and loads like this

 

I am having this stretching screen problem too. does anyone know how to fix it?

 

Do you have nvidia software running on your PC?
Open nvidia control panel > Adjust desktop size and position > Perform scaling on: GPU > Select to override the scaling mode

 

No I have AMD. Through amd's software I went to MapleRoyal's profile.

-off
-center
-full panel
-preserve aspect ratio

I have ran the program trying all of these options however the screen remains stretched.
