Hello, I have a priest and was saving meso to buy the goodly elemental wand 5 or 6 a few days ago. And then I got a question.

Is ele wand the best? Of course it's now, but i am confused because there's a possibility that reverse item could be updated later on.

If the reverse item is updated, the market will be volatile, so I don't have any desire to training characters or upgrade items now.

For this reason, I ask your opinion.

    * Is there a large price difference between Elemental Wand 5 and 6? For example, what is the price of clean tma 163 5 and 6 and scrolled tma 219 5 and 6? Sometimes when I look at a megaphone(?), most users seem to prefer elemental wand 5, so I wondered. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

    1. anyway save meso and buy perfect elemental wand 5 or 6 and enjoy.
    2. just get tma 185~195 ele wand 5/6/7
    3. It can be not....

I dont' know how to do. please leave your opinion. Thank you for reading that post. Have a good day.

Ele wand is actually a lot stronger than a reverse wand cause of the no luk requirment (and higher matk too)

I'm not sure about current prices
The reason wand 5 is wanted more is that it boosts fire damage so all fp mages need it. If you are a bishop you can just buy whatever is stronger/cheaper regardless if it's wand 5 or 6

And about the perfect wands , just aim for like 185-190 tma
You only need a perfect wand if you are like lvl 180+ or something with really godly mage items and trying to get 1600 magic

Elemental Wand 6 is the most favoured wand for bishop users, it having the higher tma compared to wand 7&8 and cheaper then 5 which is mostly favoured by fire mages, therefore most costly

As a priest to bishop route, every meso counts. Therefore you will always want to opt for the best and cheapest option.

Meanwhile i wouldn’t suggest investing into a perfect elemental wand early as you will need to budget yourself for Genesis 20 or even genesis 30 along the way. Which might be pretty pricy to obtain, but still way more efficient then getting a perfect wand.

From my knowledge of the original version of maplestory, reverse item like what our girl sophie discribed above my post. It requires luk to be equipped.
When base ap is invest onto luk, lowering your base int, resulting in major lost of dmg.

Becareful on how you spend mesos on your journey as a bishop. Soon enough after selling leech when you move on to the bossing phase, hp washing to a certain extend is suggested, therefore going that route might require more mesos.

    @Ayane

Thank you for your reply. As you said, the reverse item has a luk requirement, so the elemental wands must have a relative advantage. And I found that not only the wands but also other items need to be upgraded to semi-perfect in order to get the 1600 Magic attack based on the 200 level. It seems impossible now, but I'll try on your advice. Thank you for your opinion.

    * I think luk-less mage can reach 1,500magic attack at 200 levels, but 1600 seems really difficult.

    @Jooon

Thank you for your reply. After reading your answer, Somehow I feel it harder to be a bishop than I thought after looking at your article what bishop's guide. My goal up to level 130 is to get the insanity tier earrings, zakum helmet and elemeantal wand. So I haven't thought about Genesis or Maple Warrior yet.

I see it takes a lot more process to be a good wizard than I thought... May I ask you some question? I've seen a demage thread before and found your hp over 11k. May I ask what level do I start at and how much money do I need to get there to be like you? My 92 level priest have basic 1157hp and 14743mp without equip. I think it will help a lot if you give me your advice. Of course I know it's impossible, but on the other hand, I'm curious. Thank you for your comments.

You can find The washing guide below the Bishop 2019 Guide and follow it step by step! Its pretty easy once you done it once!

For one to get to that amount will definately not be difficult as a bishop! As you have so much opportunities for a source of income!
Such as selling leech, Farming Stoppers and additional side income like Daily NX vote to get APRs!

With some effort and spare time invested into them, its Definately not impossible! Haha!

For MP washing, my suggestion will be start at lvl150~ where It gets really efficient as MP gain scales to how much base int you have.

Mesos wise, Level up sell leech and use your spare money/NX to MP wash every level. Which is 5APR every level thats ~70mil every level. Which is pretty affordable if you do it slowly and a comfortable pace.
And especially by then as a bishop you should already have a solid pace of mesos income.

The expensive part comes afterwards where you wish to transfer the Bonus MP that you washed into HP.
My suggestion is budget away ~5bil,
learn the market and buy cheaper APR, and then leave 1 AP inside HP/MP pool, where you can slowly transfer The MP into HP whenever you get a good deal.

Do not prioritise too much on gears is my Number 1 advice as a bishop. As mages gain their main source of damage or ‘Magic’ through levels instead of gears.
Getting your gene20 early, a 180~190 wand, a decent earrings and invest some luck into your untradables.
The next thing you know it, you’ll be able to 1hit Ulu2 or other better leeching areas!
And of course with my other Advice to share to all leechers !
    - Make full use of Spellbound Lollipop/Energizers!
They add so much magic, which saves you so much effort to reach the requirements to 1hit.

I’m always open to answering any bishops/mage related questions too!
You can leave a reply on the bishop guide or even chat me in game if you see me running about!

@Jooon Thanks to you, I can understand what I read in your guide better.

First of all, as many pioneers including you, have said, I have to become a bishop and then plan for the next one step by step.

    1. Be a bishop with save a mount of meso
    2. Get a genesis skill book
    3. To reach a level where i can reach other users in a ghost ship or a wolf spider
    4. Save more than 350 AP resets before level 140
    5. Upgrade some equipment

My Magic Attack is now 712, I see it is too early to discuss the following.
    There's a lot I haven't experienced yet, so let's take a step forward.
Thank you for your advice. I wish you have a good time.
