error code

    Hi I think i successfully downloaded mapleroyals, and I added it to the exlcusions for Windows firewall. But when I try to run the app, i get error code: -2147467259 (Unspecified Error)
    Not too sure how to fix this

    If you two are using windows 7 this this: remove the dinput8.dll file in the Mapleroyals folder. For some reason it hates people using windows 7 and it won't even launch / give out error codes for people trying to open it.

    If you're windows 10, I'm not sure sorry :( I hear people using Nvidia have terrible luck with this game dcing frequently in boss runs (even with gfxing) and sometimes they get log in errors. My advice would be to spam click it for a few minutes until it works lol
    Sometimes I had to open over 21 clients to get one to magically connect :)

    I fixed it by right clicking mapleroyals > properties > compatibility > run in 640 x 480 screen resolution

    The game should start up normally but in a really weird resolution! Wait for it to load up and you can click ALT + ENTER and it'll fix it to full screen and if you do it again it'll windows it!

    Thanks for the tip, tried it. but it just said the same message only with a fucked resolution :/
