With all the new ways of getting HP, is it still important to HP wash as Paladin?

I've never made a Paladin before and I have never HP washed anything before. With all the new ways of getting HP, is it still important to do it?

Can you still boss at endgame without?

Can you still farm the mobs you need?

Does it just allow you to get to bossing faster?

1 Yes, however you may struggle in a few areas such as solo bossing without HB and especially at lower levels (think: bigfoot @ 120-160). You may not be able to tank certain things that other warriors can, may be reliant on HB for certain bosses/scenarios, and in turn may not be as desired by recruiters as somebody who does HP wash (think: seduce @ HT). I am unsure of how much total HP you can gain from the HP quests exactly, so this may counter balance things more than I am thinking.

2 Absolutely. You can train at any mob for your level range without HP washing.

3 It allows you to be able to do/have a multitude of things
    1. a better QoL - more HP = less to worry about and less chance of dying
    2. a wider array of 'skill sets' in that you can perform/fill certain roles which require higher than natural HP
    3. survive certain bosses at earlier levels, but given warriors issue is usually accuracy due to the level gap this benefit is arguably meaningless
    4. survive at certain bosses or solo certain bosses without relying on HB

If you want to boss more comfortably and increase your chances to be picked as sed mule in public HT runs, then yes HP washing is still worthy to be considered.

You also sort of save more potions by having more HP since those % based potion heals based on your max HP. God knows how many potions would I waste when I was grinding on himes if I've not HP wash at that level.

It isn't too difficult to wash a Paladin anyway, just raise some base int to about 20 to 50 and use some cheap int gear.

Yes it's something you should do as soon as possible. The sooner you do it, the more MP you can accumulate. You should try and use some int gear (like even just 100%-ed or badly scrolled green bandana, cape, bathrobe and stuffs like that can help a lot) if that's possible as well, having more MP never hurts and you can always sell the int gear when you don't need them anymore instead of spending additional APR to reset your base int.

You should also try out the HP calculator by Shiyui to have a better plan. Try use 28k HP at level 160 or something as your goal since you can have HP sources from other equipment as well.
