The Thailand monsters are missing in this list. They are quite easy to complete as well, so a good addition.
Tip for Showa Street 3: Hit Male boss a few times just so it gets quite low, not enough for him to die, then clear the top platform or wait on the rope and Male boss will spawn lots of mobs. Kill and repeat!
Are there any cards that cannot be collected as a Lv140+? Like PPQ or OPQ bosses, etc. (I know KPQ is open forever, but haven't checked other PQs)
So If I started doing this at 135 and didnt get ppq card and orbis pq, that means I cant get legendary colector medal?
Known fact: Cards will start dropping like candies once you actually completed the set... or at least that's what it feels like I swear I got like 26 red slime cards while trying to get 5 firebomb cards. 146 more sets to go @-@
Okay. Some random thing I noticed while hunting Dark Nependeath cards. They have r i d i c u l o u s low drop rate. I farmed Strolling Path II for over 2 hours over several days, killed at least 4,000 Dark Nependeaths to get 5 cards That's at maximum like 0.125% drop rate... I know the guide says to go to Disposed Flower Garden but that shouldn't matter right..? And also 4 out of 5 cards dropped at exact same spawn spot. (Where I'm standing) and it happens to be one that auto-attacks me unlike most other ones in this map. they just all sit there. Don't remember where I got the first card I know this is supposed to be all RNG but damn, this seems bugged. Anyways, onto the next one qq
This seems to be the only thread dedicated to Monster Card Hunting, so I'm going to post some information I have found out while collecting these monster cards. I am collecting these cards as an Ice/Lightning Archmage. Chain Lightning is incredibly effective! *There definitely seems to be extremely low drop rates for some monsters. I can concur with Sscreric that both Nependeath and Dark Nependeath drop rates are horrendous. On both maps, there seems to be Nependeaths that spawn as any regular mob does, in certain areas of the map, and some Nependeaths that have a much longer spawn timer, similar to the long spawn timer the Fiery on the map has (20 minutes or so). If you spend a lot of time on the map, you will see what I mean. I can't confirm this, but it seems the rare Nependeath spawns are the ones that drop the Monster Cards, or at least have a much higher drop rate. The rare Nependeaths only spawn in specific areas of the map where the normal Nependeaths DON'T spawn. This goes for the Dark Nependeaths as well. -Here's a little tip for those farming El Nath and Orbis monsters: Keep the Etc drops. If you have a store, sell them in bundles of 100 for extra mesos. Get something out of your grinding! Fiery and Jr. Boogies I have not gotten 1 card from. The Monster Book itself identifies the two as 'Fiery 1' and Jr. Boogie 1'. Not sure if that has anything to do with me not getting any cards, as all the mobs I find are 'Fiery 2' and 'Jr. Boogie 2'. Or, I'm just really unlucky with those. It seems all the regular mobs that re spawn every time they are killed, the slightly rarer mobs that take a minute or two to re spawn (Tauromacis, Taurospear, Gatekeeper and Thantanos) and the rarer mobs that take 30+ minutes to re spawn, like MT-09, Rombot, Chief Greys, Homunscullo, D.Roy and the Crimsonwood Trees all have the same Monster Card drop rate. I think the rarer mobs should have a slightly higher drop rate. Farming the rarer mobs you have to channel surf and can only do like once an hour, and that's if no one else is also looking for them. Rare mobs that only have one map are even worse. There are three maps where Chief Greys spawn, tripling the amount of mobs to kill, and because of this, I was able to finish that set. I hunted Mt-09 while I waited for the Chief Greys to re spawn and didn't get one card from them. MT-09 is only on one map. I'll add more information I've discovered later. Hope this helps some of you.
Yeah I'm not sure either, I spent maybe 30min on hunting those before I gave up and so far nobody else had come forward with info on the fiery and boogie cards, same with admins lol so I really don't know about those two. I just tell people to skip them
