After I dced on Horntail, I follow the advice here: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how...graphical-glitches-closing-your-client.16643/ and shutdown my card nividia, but MapleRoyal kept gives me -2123135453 error message and the setup just kept telling me direX is required According to the Display Adapter on my Windows 10 PC, it only has one graphic card that is NVIDIA GeForce GTX960 and it does not have an onboard graphic card. I heard the onboard graphic card is something like "intel 5500 something" but I don't have it installed. I also tried to installed it from ASUS website but it can't be installed because it cannot detect relevant program that needs it. My monitor is in blue screen when I plug in HDMI cable from my PC to my monitor. Another thing I notice from Zak is that it always crash at the 3rd body when its animation starts to glitching out. Even if I survive the crash, the game audio kept playing the boss' theme whenever I enter another map or in the login screen. Clearly that's some kind of audio and graphic glitch all together. It also happens after Krex. The only boss that won't pull any of these shit is papluatus, which I'm comfortable at killing it multiple times without dc. Seriously, how am I going to setup my PC for any boss fight?
Use Vmware whenever you play Royals for best experience. Huge hassle but 10/10 will solve any graphical dc issue.
there are a few things you can try to avoid d/c's at these bosses. try playing with the graphics before and after a body, try using some software, try playing with compatibility settings. and more. something should help, it varies from player to player. sometimes the most simple thing in the world, like a simple windows restart, helps too. who knows, its not easy to figure out what actually helps.
I retry vmware again and it finally works. Despite the bishop genesis in the boss battle, the sudden summons of horntail minion, the animation shifting when horntail body turned to stone or when horntail cast their fancy fireworks of magic, I ended up not d/c and survive till I got my pedant. I think this might just renew my faith in vmware. Thank you.
