Revert King Goblin card drop rate buffs

It has a normal monster card drop rate in the original server, why was the drop rate buffed to match bosses in the first place? If it was meant to be a boss then it should have been in the boss tab in the monster book (i.e. the yellow tab). You want the Legendary Collector medal to be difficult to obtain but unnecessarily buff card drop rates so that it’s easier to obtain. Furthermore with the introduction of Neo Tokyo, more monster cards will be available and the medal just gets easier and easier to obtain.

If I and a few others are able to obtain the three king goblin cards without a buffed drop rate, then I don’t see why it should be buffed either. It’s also unfair to us. The king goblin cards aren’t even necessary for the medal.

Either increase the required number of sets to get Legendary Collector medal, because of how much easier it is to get it after implementation of Thailand and Neo Tokyo monsters compared to when the medal was first released, or revert the King Goblin card buffs. I prefer the latter.

It should be a challenge to get the cards for the completion of the monster book, and rightfully so.

Edit : Apparently from this thread (https://royals.ms/forum/threads/king-goblin-card.139798/) it was thought that the drop rate was a bug. I’m here to say it is NOT a bug as I got all 5 cards within around 600 kills myself, which is the average number of kills for a normal monster. The monster drop rate as opposed to a boss drop rate was how it was intended in the original servers (GMS etc.) as well.

 

If neo Tokyo can let you bypass the goblins why are the goblins so important? It's not just the drop rate. You can only kill like three a day as well, getting the boss flag makes that much better especially since everyone tries getting the old fox buff before summoning the goblins as well to increase their odds, trust me, I've gotten some yellow goblin cards, it's not cool, it sbouldnt take months of no life grinding

 

Exactly, if the goblins are not important then why buff their drop rates? You can get the medal without the goblins, especially more so after the release of Neo Tokyo and Thailand, that’s what EVERYONE with the medal has done prior to this patch. Now it’s an extra three sets of cards that makes it easier to get the medal. But they want the medal to be a challenge to obtain, so how does buffing make it any more of a challenge?

Also you say you can only kill three a day, yet say it shouldn’t take months of no life grinding. Does killing three king goblins a day take up that much time? I don’t recall ever grinding longer than 30 minutes at a time to get their cards. You’re doing something wrong.

 

It takes forever dude, ask anyone. Three chances a day to normal monster rate card is junk, I'm glad they increased it. And not everyone can just go to neo Tokyo and get cards.

If it’s junk then just don’t get it..? Like I said it’s not even necessary.

 

Is your intention to get the medal or to complete the entire monster book? If it’s the former, I have already said EVERYONE prior to this patch have gotten the medal without the goblin cards, so I don’t see what makes you so special that you need a buff on these cards while the ones that already got the medal don’t need it.

 

Right, so I still don’t know why you need the goblin cards when everyone with the medals don’t, care to explain?

This is a similar argument to why we’re not getting timeless weapons is it not? Because those with already perfected dragon weapons have already spent time and effort perfecting them?

Obviously I’m salty about this change because I spent time and effort getting those cards when you can easily get them now. Obviously “you guys have to do it the way I did. No shortcuts” because what have you done to deserve the shortcut?

Please talk to me when you’re at 397/400 cards for the medal and have to choose between cards like baby typhoon, rombot, crimson tree, d.roy, lycanthrope and the likes. Only then will you realize how important three sets of cards are.

 

Those are all infinitely easier than the goblin cards because theres no limit to how many you can spawn in a day. Dojo boss is worse than rombot, wow

and i’m quite sure that person also has all the goblin cards already prior to this patch. he was reporting what he thinks was a bug, not suggesting that the drop rate be buffed. i got all 5 cards with around 600 kills each, so in fact that isn’t a bug. he’s just unlucky, and the drop rate shouldn’t have been buffed.

“I don’t see what makes you so special” is equivalent to asking what makes you so special that you need the buffs, which in case you don’t know, is a question. It’s not my fault you can’t infer what I was trying to say.

As for that third quote, I don’t even know how that is an attack. You implied I was making a big deal of just three cards so I replied why it was a big deal. That’s attacking? Sure.

Now don’t you have some goblin hunting to do instead of engaging me, which you said you’re done with?

 

If they buffed King Goblins does that mean they also buffed Jr Boogie, Fairy, Chief Grey?

Cause their spawn rate and drop rate is absolute garbage.
