Plenty of ways to go wrong when account sharing

    - Hacking (both illegal programs and stealing items)
    - RWT
    - Ban (more accounts will be affected)
    - Rights of ownership (which includes character creation, deletion, not just items)

There are way more disadvantages of account sharing compared to advantages

And also, can the supporters of account sharing not ignore the following situation

Didn't you spend a considerable amount of time as a GM lol.

Also, aren't offenses like this normally give a 30 day ban and a reversal of the jump quest? Doesn't seem like severe abuse to me (although OPs attitude is realllll bad)

The thing for me is that this rule is largely unenforceable without explicit evidence. They would need chat logs or someone admitting to them that they've account shared. Even in an industry like online poker where account sharing gives you a huge edge, there are still exceptions to the rules. For example, your internet connection fails so you call a friend up to finish the tournament. Even things like going to the bathroom and having a family member or friend clicking for you is not a bannable offense. The main thing is that you cant enforce these rules without evidence. So someone admitting that they got someone to do a jq for them and now getting banned, is fucking retarded. Plenty of times I've been in a tough spot playing poker and got and have given advice to a friend I was either on a skype call with or someone I was with in real life. Imagine poker sites banning EVERYONE doing this. Theres a bunch of reasons why they dont. Not all crimes are considered the same. Theres a difference between self defense, manslaughter and murder and the law punishes accordingly. Life isnt as easy as a one size fits all policy

I believe that perma bans are kind of ridiculous. I see people trying to come back after years and years and are still unable to play. I think people deserve second chances especially when they have been banned for over a year.

The Staff have already added an alternative to the zakum jump quest

There is no reason to justify why account sharing for the Zakum jump quest should be allowed

Regarding the situation you have proposed
If the internet fails, just do it again (regardless of poker or jump quest) - there's no good reason to ask a friend to play on behalf

Even if you feel letting someone else play poker is allowed, does that works in the casino?

The point is you cannot properly enforce this rule without someone admitting it or someone snitching. I can share my account for as long as I want and get away with it as long as no one finds out. Also real life and online are two different scenarios. You can actually enforce this rule at a casino, but cant online. If someone were to have a top pro play their game in the late stages of a tournament that is forbidden, but it's also unenforceable without evidence, hence a lot of people get away with it. Like I said, if someone were to get a family member or friend to click for them for a bit while they go to the washroom or has to do something briefly, that is fine and I would argue it should be fine here as well. And of course there are good reasons to ask people to play on your behalf. You can end up losing your chip stack by getting blinded out deep in a tournament if your internet is out for too long. You really want that to happen at a wcoop final table? Live you dont have to worry about connection issues. And leaving your table to do something and someone playing for you is actually enforceable, not like it is online. Is it really that bad if someone is in the middle of apq or a boss run and a family member finishes the runs for them? If someone has tried doing the Zak jq for an hour and asks someone for help? But if gms found out, that would merit a ban. I would just recommend people using teamviewer instead of giving their info out for things like this.

It is possible to detect account sharing if cross region or multi client with different accounts

You may feel it's fine about having a friend to help with zakum jump quest but the person who account shared clearly stated he wanted to change password cause he can no longer trust the friend

If we allowed this, how many investigations does the Staff gonna handle regarding account sharing and determining whether items were stolen? And also punishments if there were really a items stolen incident, do the Staff ban both IP address? There are many issues with allowing account sharing

For the TeamViewer part I am not sure if that's allowed since there are not many cases about it, probably my need to clarify with a Staff
    Example

Just go play another server, and please do read the rules this time
Not every server allows account sharing
