Why do you think you got banned?:
Yesterday morning I was at my grandma's house (rural area which is an hour of driving away from my place where I usually vote) and I voted there, I've noticed the IP addressed being used by someone else every time I try to vote there, perhaps its someone else who has an identical(or similar, maybe using VPN, idk) address that got banned, which also got me banned as a result.
Another reason might be the amount of NX points I've saved up from killing bosses, I can assure you that I've never done anything illegal to obtain those points, It's all patient farming and raw hard work.

You forgot 'yeaboi', which you had made a claim to have been hacking. You've been permanently banned for that claim.

 

YEABOI is in the same account as l3gend. As a GM you should be able to see that. Please do not make it sound like I'm trying to conceal anything when I've went all the way out.

Funny how GM's friends or well known players can joke about "hacking" around each other, but when it comes to other players, they get banned. It's ridiculous and doesn't make any sense. To make matters worse, these "well known players" of the community even joke about the racial forbidden word typed in other forms and they get away with it as well. Getting immunity from deserved punishment just because they kiss up to GMs, that's a way to go, well done I guess.

Getting banned for this reason, it's obvious that the player BassBrigade reported me out of grudge, even though he was the person who started the conflict by defaming me after disrupting me, just because I joked about him hunting NX points from owls in ludi. I was doing CWK pre-quest where I had to collect quest items from Tick-Tocks. It was an obvious joke about "hacking", when I was speed farming quest items with 2 arch mages in order to save time, hence the joke: "hacking" for those of you who don't have a sense of humor.

I frequently help reporting and catching hackers to maintain a good environment for this server, I helped so many new players out so they don't spam GMs for help,
and this is what I get after all that.
Not saying that you guys should acknowledge this, but at least I've contributed to this community so much more than those selfish players who try to ruin other people's day.
If you really think this is what GMs are supposed to do, as administrators, if you really think this is what you called justice, then it's really a shame, and big damn shame.

 

I'm not making it sound like you're hiding anything. Merely stating that that was the character you were on when you said that.

I'd like to see any examples of this if you're trying to make a point out of it. People don't joke about things like that in this server by saying "We're hacking". Things like that can be easily seen as a believable claim and results in the same punishment as actually breaking the rule. You can't expect people to have the same sense of humor that you do, which obviously resulted in you being reported. You should have been more careful with what you were going to say.

 

Yea, if only actual hackers would admit that easily and be that easy to catch eh? Why don't you tell that to those well known players who joke about it all the time? If you actually ban those players who really ABUSE the term "hacking" and racial words, this server would probably have no one left.

 

Again, you still have no evidence of those others using "jokes" like you did, but what other people said in this case is irrelevant. You said that you were hacking, which we take seriously, no matter how much it was mean to be a joke.

 

So what if I find evidence, you're just gonna ban them like you did with me anyways, whats the point? This rule of yours doesn't solve any hacking problems btw, there are still hackers everywhere, banning an actual hacker reporter won't improve anything but make it worse. Good luck with that.

Maple is a wonderful game, but the people administering is the reason why less and less people are playing. I'm not trying to get my account back, just saying its a shame, Shane.

For all those reading this thread, don't you think it's weird how these guys only banned me even though they showed my chat history of :"We're hacking"? They obviously don't care about the other person "I claimed to have hacked with", they're just upset I'm exposing the bunch of people who they really are publicly. In fact, I bet they even have the screenshot of the other person reported, but they don't bother dealing with him.

Specifically banning me while ignoring the other person involved in this incident, clearly shows how little the GMs care about the problem of hackers in this server.
Not once have they asked me anything about my "other partner". They're not banning potential hackers, they're just getting rid of people upsetting them or their friends, even though it was the truth that was stated against them. What's even sadder is that they just keep repeating my minor offense against this "rule" of theirs so that they can just ban me, even though the actual reason is just grudge. That's called ABUSING your powers as GM of this game, you are no different from those rotten politicians IRL.

All I did was ban you based on what the rules said. You won't be unbanned.
