Hi. Ill try to be direct with my idea and my arguments of it. But i have to start with some "disclaimers" 1st of all i have to say that im thankful for how developers have worried about give us some some brand new "touches" in almost every event this year. Ive heard that this year events were the same as every year with some content added who nobody cared, i disagree, i know how hard is to make and introduce new content(dont say that no1 private server has to be perfect bcs a. The budget is limited B. Even nexon developers with millions on disposition screw it, so no, being the no1 server dont make them forced to have everything perfect and on time) so i apreciated. That being said, ill start: PLEASE do a "copy, paste" from last year xmas event. Dont add anything new. Ill elaborate: Ive been researching this with some friends and got this conclusions. 1.xmas event is one of the more ejoyable events of the year(my personal favorite) all ppl told me pretty much the same, just at it is. 2.delaying this event is just let the "snowball" get bigger and bigger, every delayed event, make the next one even more delayed aswell. 3.This is the only event when dates does matter, and, A LOT. Is not the same start to take advabtage of the event since 15 and when the 24th cames being alrdy half way our goal for this year event, taht if starts on 23 or 26th when ppl are more concetrated on festivity tasks, thinking something like "naahh ill start when this hangover is over" but then... Newyearseve come... Same history, event ends 20th of january and we just have 15 days to take advantage of it... Sucky event... Would be even worse if its launched on january... That would make the delaying snowball gigantic... To summerize, if u have something new alrdy prepared to this event, great, thank u for ur concern.., if not or, half way prepared, please drop it, let it for next year. But please dont take too long, dates are crucial for this event. Thanks to all the staff for ur marvelous work. P. D. tl;dr: don't dick around with trying to create new/additional things for the Christmas event if it'll only set back the release date, it's far more important to have the event released on time than it is with new things
I just wanna comment on the one thing I also SUPER important, THE DATE. December is christmas, the event should de from December 1 to December 27~29
Thanks for ur reply.. But, it cannot start dec 1st, its alrdy 10th...also xmas event have to end after new year, with the newyearseve event aswell
I saw Matt commented on the shoutbox that the event wasn't gonna be delayed and should be released on time. I guess it will be in a couple of days.
Well we have Halloween event after Halloween, so I don't mind Christmas event after Christmas, at all.
Christmas in the States is on December 25th, so I'm assuming the event will hit on the 13th/14th like last year
