    Hi all. I'm Slon.

I joined Mapleroyals in October 2016 and fell into the nostalgic maple world, while stopped during the new source update as it took so long. (Yeah that was not a long period)
I managed to become pretty busy in 2017 so I almost forgot about Royals.

3 years has passed. Abruptly I wanna see my main character (lvl 92 or 93 crusader) last night and explore the maple world for a while. Unfortunately I forgot the account password.
I came to the website for assistance but found that account recovery is unavailable. Not expect to see that. :(

All in all, I'm thinking about creating a new account and build another crusader. From past experience it won't take too long to get to lvl 90. (Maybe it'll be earlier than the new control panel comes out)
However I feel weird to create a new one and I miss my warrior so bad.

I am curious that under such circumstances, will you start from scratch or you will wait for the update?

Sorry to hear about your situation.

Personally, I would personally just create another brand new character, since the staffs have yet to give a concrete timeline on when the password recovery will be ready. If you fear that control panel might up soon, and you do not want to waste your time, you can consider playing different or complimentary class for a Hero/Crusader.

My reasoning is when the panel control is up and running again, I will have a character that is able to assist with my crusader's training like a Bishop, Buccaneer or an Archer, so at least I know my time was not wasted. In the case of Archers or Paladins, they share similar gears like Dex bathrobes, earring or swords.

But if you know being a crusader is the only class you will ever want to play, is fine too! There are some players who will always keep creating characters from the same class. I have a hunch, you reach level 90 first before the control panel get set up, especially when CPQ got rerelease.

You can leave your IGN here, if you decide to start playing soon. I might have some equipments to spare.

Make a new character on a new account I'll help you get started!
It's always fun to try something new. Maybe an archer or pirate?

You two are so kind! I think I shall pick mage (probably cleric) for my new character, if not crusader. Also interested in assassin but it seems hard without funding.
While the fact is that I'm now preparing for BAR exam in Taiwan that falls in Oct 2020. I'm afraid that building a character will take a lot of time and so to be in a dilemma.
I will consider for a while. Thank you so much! (And hopefully the control panel will be ready soon)
