I've been here at MapleRoyals for about a year now and have done several things to help the community in many ways, for example with community events, guides, being a GM for a short period of time and other things. This is why I came up with the idea of hosting a weekly lottery, which I did before as event and to financially support my community events (original thread can be found here). This time around, no community events but just the lottery. There's plenty of MapleRoyals players out there that like a little gamble online with their mesos, and this is their chance to do so! Rules & Concept You can buy entries for 1,000,000 mesos each, up to a maximum of 20 entries. The more entries you buy, the higher your winnings will be: Everyone has the same odds! This is to keep it fair to everyone here, not just the rich and funded merchants out there. There will also not be a winner-takes-all concept; there will be more winners depending on the amount of participants, with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on place (maximum 5). Rules If you don't pay before the drawing, you will be disqualified for that week. Attempting to alter the outcome of the drawing in any way will lead to you being disqualified for all future lotteries hosted by me. Trading, selling or buying entries with/to someone is forbidden and will result in disqualification, as well. You can keep track of all entries and the results in a public spreadsheet, which you can find here. This is so everyone can see there's no shady business going on and it's 100% fair for everyone. I would also like to stress that this is no money-making endeavour; I don't make any mesos with this. I do this for fun and to provide gameplay diversity. Want to participate? At the drawing, a random number between 1 and 100,000 will be generated, and those closest to it will win. The numbers will all be generated with a function of Google Drive (spreadsheets) (=RANDBETWEEN(1; 100000); this generates a number every time a field is edited or the page is reloaded. The number generated by entering the participant's name will be their entry #!). All winners get their entry money back. The rest of the pot is divided based on the place and the amount of entries of a participant, represented by shares.
