It's driving me nuts. I tried to do VMware but the VMware tools will not automatically or manually download no matter what I do, so I remember I have a old laptop downstairs; download mapleroyals on it and try that and it works but at the last 2 minutes of horntail the whole laptop crashes and powers off! First my computer was too powerful and then it's too weak?! How do people get through Horntail runs like everyday? It's like impossible to get through one and it pissed me off. Seriously what do you guys do? How do you manage to get a pendant cause like that's all I need is one pendant ugh, this game is so broken
A forum member contacted me with the solution, I am going to post it here for any others who had trouble with VMware Tools & Compatibility If you cannot get vmWare tools to install : Make sure you have installed vmWare version 6.0.4 and download the third file from this link https://packages.vmware.com/tools/esx/6.0p04/windows/x86/ That is the ISO for vmWare tools you must put in the CD/DVD inside your Emulator (through settings). After, click MyComputer and run it, installing vmWare tools. After that, Tim saids to right click Mapleroyals (in your emu) > Properties and set the compatibility to Windows98/me however that caused major glitching and crashes for me. I set it to Windows 2000 and it worked perfectly.
