    Hey

So I've followed the installation steps and installed the client in while again. Then when I read the post about NPC being missing, I went to download that. I download it and it comes as a compressed zipped folder (31,599kb). When I try to extract it, it says

"Cannot complete the compressed (zipped) Folders Extraction Wizard
The compressed (zipped) folder is empty.
Before you can extract files, you must copy
files to this compressed (zipped) folder."

I've tried dragging it into my mapleroyals folder and extracting it in there but that doesn't work either.
How can I get this one file to extract? The game runs fine otherwise, but ofc I cant do any of the new content.

    Thanks

The files are not compressed. It is your browser erroneously saving it as a .zip file despite it really being a .wz file. Simply change the file extension accordingly.

Yeah, that was the first thing I tried. when I click to download I type in 'save as' ".wz" and it still downloads as a zipped file. :( There must be something im doing wrong. How would you go about changing the file extension?

You would first need to tell your file manager to display file extensions. In Windows 7 this can be done by disabling Organise > Folder and search options > View > Hide extensions for known file types.

You need then only rename the file in question and exchange '.zip' for '.wz'.

    **Edit:

Figured it out, I had to click on what to save the file as, as well as typing .wz
