This is an issue that I have actually had for months now. I did not learn about this issue until I started farming/leeching with my mages. When there are too many loots left on the ground, I experience heavy lag. This means if I want to farm/leech on a map, my rotation requires me to move to other platforms to pick up items VERY frequently. This is quite inconvenient in terms of efficiency as you can imagine. Notably, this can happen even if i CC to a channel where a mage is already farming. If they are not actively looting as much as I would, my client quickly freezes and eventually my character D/C's. I have attached a video that briefly shows the lag I experience. It happens at 0:48. I quickly move to the top platform to loot items as to relieve the pressure on my client. Immediately upon my pets picking up some items, my lag disappears. My question is, is this a normal occurrence for other players? I would also ask whether there is a solution to this issue because it is quite frustrating. Thank you for your time and consideration!
I had the same issue when I played on my old laptop. When I got a new desktop with better CPU and ram, lag no longer occurred.
Try only having 1 pet. For me having multiple pets made me lag much more frequently even with just a small amount of items on the ground. With only 1 pet per mage now I really only lag a bit if I don't loot the items at all during the time that I am NPCing on another character.
i know many ppl who have same issues when ulu farming. I think i have it as well but it has to be lots and lots of etcs before i start lagging.
I get this too while surfing for a map and encountering specific farmers in ulu 1... It lags just absolutely horribly (to the extent that it takes 5seconds to cc). But personally when I farm and clear my own drops relatively frequently and I don't encounter it for myself.
lmao yeah I, once when I logged into @nyannko777 channel and was just sitting in the corner for a few minutes without being able to do anything, had to alt+f4. I see the same thing happening to people who logged into my channel where they suddenly just stop moving in the middle of ULU1 and disappear after a few minutes.
I'm probably one of those people who causes ulu 1 lag channels of death. What I do is take refuge in some random other channel I am not farming on until my loot timer goes MEEP! so I have to brave my own channels and load in all the drops in them. As long as my computer doesn't overthink it, I'm fine. Overthinking is caused by looting while also playing YouTube on quality over 144p or looting while afking in my own map with my own Genesis animations loading every 3 seconds. Hiding in the map to the left of ulu 1 is useful too.
