Hi. This is MABUS. Can we make MapleRoyals compatible for Macs? I have MacBook Pro and I'm trying to play MapleRoyals again after my PC and laptop broke.
Unfortunately, no. Mac support has been dropped for a few years now. Personally, I use Parallels instead – https://www.parallels.com/
Just use bootcamp with Windows installed on it, that’s what I do. Pretty stable too, I don’t DC at all even if I don’t gfx (I still do it once just to be safe), something which is not common. I used to DC quite a lot on my Windows laptop, however.
I downloaded Parallels the free trial AND the manual way with windows 10 iso. The free trial was running too slow and staying too long in the black screen so I tried the manual way which i picked up from youtube - then the manual process overwritten the free trial and did not work afterwards. Do you have any other PC apps for the Macbook Pro? or any other way?
i had vmware with windows xp and i still get white screen sometimes in zak and even random walks . imma try bootcamp with w10.
Does nobody use VirtualBox anymore? I played KMS on Macbook Pro with VirtualBox app with windows 10 set up and all before; but now when i try it, it doesnt seem to work - i think its because my MacBook Pro is updated to Sierra.
As far as I know, the alternatives for Parallels are: VirtualBox (free) – https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads Bear in mind, its installation and usage are somewhat technical. Boot Camp (free) – https://support.apple.com/boot-camp Apple's utility for installing Windows with plenty of tutorials available. VMware Fusion ($) – https://www.vmware.com/cl/products/fusion.html A popular alternative, easy to use. Asking Tim to bring back Mac support (free(???)) So far no luck, but never hurts to ask again!
Any new update about the M1 Macs? Parallels is just too expensive to play only 1 game and there's no Bootcamp anymore. I tried installing MapleRoyals with CrossOver but it gives an error when trying to Install it. There's other MS private server that managed somehow to make their installer work with an older CrossOver version...
Parallels is free trial 2 weeks + u can abuse it. Crossover too. But i don't wanna bootcamp because it takes too much space man. Any other solutions? I use crossover and it just freezes completely when i put my PIC.. idk what else to do.
The only way on Intel MacBooks is to use BootCamp with the M1 Macs its not even possible to install the game with Parallels / crossover... some other private servers installers work..
but there are players who use crossover etc.. i call bullsh!t. Bootcamp takes like 50% of my computer space so no thanks.
And there's players with M1 Pros or higher who cannot load it... Currently the installation is working now but when you try to open it its just stuck.
