It has come to my attention as a forum dweller that recently at least 5 people are buying wa95 dps at the same time. Why now? Am i missing out some mesos generating technique that made everybody richer?
Yes. It is called Chinese New Years event. Combine that with the newly discovered (or more so shared to the public) method of duo mage(or quad for the pros) at ulu 1.
Wrong. Most people I know farm ulu and most of them are constantly broke af. None of them have 60+ total gear and perfect DPS. NONE. In fact, not a single one of them can even afford a perfect DPS. I highly doubt you can hoard 80b++ from farming ulu and selling leech in such short period. You also lose on envelopes, most of the time. You may luck out once in a while, but statistically, you will most likely to lose. Even when you win it is nowhere close to 100b profit. The more correct answer to OPs question is “RWT”. There are tons of RWTs running wild recently, some of them banned, some are not (yet). I personally knew a guy who was begging me (and I’m not even that rich) for mesos in FM like 3 months ago and suddenly he gets perfect DPS, 30k NL and TONS of perfectly scrolled items in less than a month. I won’t say any names, but the dude got banned already. Was quite an obvious case though. There was another case with a weakass meme drk who got godly attack gear and perfect ski all of the sudden. Got banned too. No names as well There are tons of cases like this. So nothing new, really.
Well, there are lots of people constantly farming ulu while selling leech and yet, there is only one Momo around (who is a veteran player himself so it kinda proves the point). So yeah :\ Most cases I saw are either veteran players, insane rng moments that happen once a year or simply ,RWT.
I get how you feel about RWT but it is not related in this case. In the event, while selling envelopes at 800k-1m meso, with quad mage farming, you could get around 500m an hour(maybe even more) without considering godly drops, or leech income. I don't know your friends but I can't see any reason for them to be broke unless they love gambling with scrolls... Either way its factual that this event always inflates the economy, and this year it was more than usual with Joon's ban appeal which created a huge interest in the method behind his farming. About 13 days in which people who are dedicated put 4-7 hours(maybe even more than that), while earning 500m/h, assuming they have a quad mage setup, and lets also assume they find a map somehow. 13 days*4 hours a day*500 m/h= 26b 13 days*7 hours a day*500m/h=45.5b So a dedicated farmer(usually have a lot of mages from Heartstopper farming), without even considering godly drops and their value, and also without considering selling the maps which during the events went to around 20m for a map was able to gain 26b-45.5b during the event. We have some seriously dedicated people in the community and I find it believable that they farmed this much to be able to afford themselves a claw.
Yeah I do get the point and I’m aware that these people do exist. However, those people you have mentioned are quite a minority. They do not represent most of ulu farmers/leech sellers, at all. An exception to the rule. Meanwhile, I see some shady characters who came out of nowhere with 30k hp, 95 DPS and 8k range @ 18x, or some lvl 6x dude selling 60 dps and 37 ws again, out of freaking nowhere. Their excuse always is “I was farming ulu 12 hours a day and buying envelopes”. I highly doubt they earned that by “selling leech and farming ulu”. Most people on the server “sell leech and farm ulu” to some degree, how many of them have perf DPS and tens of ws/cs in their inventory? And how many of them are known veteran players and not some random people buying/selling perf weapons and 20+ attack gear like it’s nothing?
If a newbie got lucky at gachapon, and after a few months managed to sell the clean perf weapon for 37 ws, and now has 37 ws in his inventory, doesn't it make sense? I agree it's very rare that people get perfect cleans but you when someone wins the lottery they become rich. That's the idea behind gachapon. I do agree with you, but that saying everything comes down to RWT is the easy way to explain the situation.
@TopKEK Siding the argument that a spike in players wanting a 95dps due to RWT is lowkey discrediting the years of effort made by these players. Also, you can abuse the Report Abuse section to whoever you find suspicious. Even if you do not have hard evidence, if you are able to detect and smell something fishy way before anyone else does, you're actually providing constructive input compared to putting forth your arguments here with no action (assuming you have made zero reports). I wish you luck!
@Swanky would like a moment to chat with you. Also being a veteran is not only subjective- but... well yeah. It takes time to make money- it's not unreasonable for only "veteran" players to have a lot of wealth. edit: I'd argue theres a lot of very wealthy players- most just don't broadcast it.
For what it's worth, I started quad mage ulu 1 farming on January 4, 2020. I had exactly 4b mesos pure that day. And even with a full time job working 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, calling my long distance partner for an hour and calling my parents for an hour after that, it really was entirely possible to farm for 4 hours if I really, really wanted to. That’s 250m an hour by the way, and I was making my 1b pure quota each day for a solid month. It was an easy 500m an hour during the red envelope event and maps weren’t hard to find if you were willing to pay a paltry 30m per map. Selling 1000+ red envelopes per day was how most of us cleared 500m per hour, not redeeming them. I ended up with 40b after a month and a half, and I'm not surprised quad ulu 1 farmers you know are poor. When money is easy come, it tends to be easy go. I cringed at spending 2b on 2 Gen 20s for my mule bishops day 1 farming. Now? 20b for a perfect clean Elemental Pierce? Cool, I'll A/W, no big deal, I'll have the money back in 3 weeks if I really care that much. I think for a very few, quad ulu 1 farming absolutely can make you very rich in a very short time. But most people don’t have two computers or four mages to 1 hit ulu 1. Certainly not newbies of course. And I agree with you. The people I know who have the insane attack gear and perfect DPS don’t farm ulu 1. They mostly quit of course, but their gear was from years of playing, mostly gaining meso through Horntail back then or the lauded goby farming with SI, giving us a grand 80m per hour. Which beat out 1 hit solo skele leech which was 65m an hour in 2016. The point is, people who are the most geared tend to be older and not actively earning money. And new players who pull out all sorts of high attack gear and weapons and washed characters out of their ass are highly suspected and talked about in my social circle and very often banned. By all means, report them. But it’s absolutely possible to earn 1b daily consistently even with having a whole life outside of Royals. If you do though, for sure people are going to know you’re there at ulu 1. It’s not a very good excuse to cover up RWT when the regulars who are there all day every day haven’t seen hide nor hair of you.
I know 3 ppl thst are buying perf dps now, but i know at least 4 or 5 more who joke about it(you can see, they send those smrgas right after the "serious ones") and i can tell you, they just "completed" the money they needed, didnt got all money in a short period of time
