Night Lords are too currently too underpowered. They are no longer the unanimous best dps class and lately more players are playing non-NL classes such as Bucc and Pally which doesn't belong in NLstory. Here are a few suggestions to swing the balance back solely to NLs being the undisputed #1 job in MapleRoyals. 1. Grant Lv 30 SE automatically to NLs upon reaching Lv. 200 as a reward. This will reduce the probability of a NL being betrayed by their SE mule Marksman or Bowmaster. It will also prevent frustration, trauma, and PTSD. Creates the opportunity for a literal all NL Horntail. Allows NLs to be more independent. NLs will be more popular which means perfected Cravens/Sleeves will gain value which rewards current NL players. 2. Increase Shadow Shifter to 50% avoidance rate and provides immunity from status effects. Avoiding a hit due to Shadow Shifter activating should also prevent status effects such as stun, dispel, seal, weaken, blind, etc. 30% is too low. A NL might actually get hit if their naturally high avoidance fails them. Taking fewer hits less often will allow a NL to multitask while they're bossing. 3. Ban all that aren't Night Lords and Bishops. Players should be ashamed for not playing Night Lords. Spoiler Happy April 1st.
The rise in other classes has been truly frustrating. With the boycott that is happening, NLs have been reduced to mere haste mules. I have been playing maplestory for over 15 years and I find it incredibly un-nostalgic that we are no longer #1 dps. In fact, the new content released was incredibly NL unfriendly. Dunas dispelling my shadow partner? No new claw? MTK costs way more than bfury??? Bring back the NLstory

I mean some players don't even 1hko petrifighters, one of their most popular training spots until like level 150 or 160. If we reduce the TMA requirement to something around 1190-1210 I think that would be ideal.

My suggestion is splitting the skills of Night Lords up into Day Lords and Night lords. The server time will determine when you get to use your Day Lord skills and when to use your Night Lord skills on a 12 hour cycle. (6 AM to 6 PM Day Lord, 6PM to 6 AM Night Lord). Daytime has been neglected for too long now as appropriate gaming time. You should be able to play your character during all times in the 24 hours of a day without being treated like a commoner or peasant when people consider you just 'Lord of the Night'. To combat the broken mechanic of people trying to stay 'low dex' or 'dexless' Day Lords will have the power of their attacks based on DEX instead of LUK. This makes the most viable build a hybrid of equal DEX and LUK the best all-round Lord. Other classes that called for a Night Lord nerf can expect a slight damage decrease of their Night Lord friends this way so they feel better about themselves too. If a Night Lord chooses not to get more DEX you can laugh at the pitiful damage that they do during their Day Lord hours! No more boss runs for you xXN4rut0S1n87Xx! The skill book should be divided as following: Day Lord Light Sight (You hide in the blinding light beams from the sun instead of the shadows) Keen Eyes (you can see better in daylight) Triple Throw Night Lord Nimble Body Dark Sight Shadow Partner Shadow Shifter Ninja Ambush Shadow Stars Ninja Storm As you can see most of the skills still go to Night Lord so that should be fine.
